If it's the issue of oil theft, the Shell and Mobil of this world steal our crude on a daily basis and we have never complained. We applaud the international oil organizations stealing our oil while we are prepared to wage war against our brothers for the same crime.

I think I'm fully convinced and subscribed to your point of View. The foreign Companies are indeed stealing our Crude Oil and we are unable to do anything. I implore the FG to offer them Amnesty, train them, and eventually use them for local refineries.

right now,that is the best and only option.....there are hundreds of them,you pop one another one comes up,let them refine the oil legally and there will be a redistribution of wealth within.
Govt and elites can control the oil blocks but allow em have full control of supply of petroleum products.
I scratch your back and you scratch mine,if they don't do this,a time will come when the real agitation will come and it will be so difficult to tame them.

In its concerted effort to stop illegal bunkering and criminal activities in the Niger Delta, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) today destroyed illegal oil refineries and barges filled with petroleum products.

The refineries and barges were sighted by NAF Diamond 42 aircraft on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission in Bille Community of Rivers State. Thereafter, an Mi-24V helicopter gunship was called-in for attack.

The operation was a success as can be seen from the enclosed photographs of the illegal refineries and barges on fire. A similar operation was carried out with remarkable success about 2 days ago in the same location.

You can't build ONE single refinery yet the people build one for themselves, you go there and destroy it, because you are muslim abooki and you have guns and bombs therefore the indigenous people have no right over their own resources. Your cup will soon full, just continue.

There is a legal issue here, what are the rules of engagement for the Nigerian military? No state of emergency has been declared yet in the Niger Delta therefore the use of force must be reasonable and proportionate to the force encountered. The Military in the absence of a state of emergency steps into the shoes of the police and subject to the same legal procedures as the Police.

In terms of quality, it will be lower considering their crude method of refining. But with little help, perhaps they can improve. Maybe the answers to our problem has always been looking at us we choose to ignore it.
