Ur senior colleague will almost always av d upper hand. Dey started d Uni race b4 u, so give them that respect. UNIBEN doesnt use age to give upper bunk or lower bunk. If u like be 43 in 100level nd ur bunkie is 17 in 200lvl, YOU WILL GET THE UPPER BUNK. That should explain something to you..... You should be praying to gain admission first instead of threatening what you will do wen ur admission status isnt known yet.... Goodluck.

Meanwhile let me correct one impression in your write up, OAU is very safe. The school is different from any school in this country when the subject of discussion is SECURITY (ask alumni and students you know). Most bad guys end up in fellowships for the fear of being lynched by fellow (but organized) students. More reason why we recommend OAU for our younger ones (females especially) despite the bad calendar. I wish Uniben can get to this level too.

You are right. I constructed the paragraph poorly and it gave it a different meaning. What I was trying to point out is 'management vs the students' syndrome very prevalent in our tertiary institutions, not Cultism. Ife is the safest school in the whole country in that regard. I commend them for that.

Uniben too has seen a decline in such activities which have migrated from the surface to the superficial level, but work still needs to be done to assure students that any form of harassment from these guys will be appropriately dealt with.

Just last semester, we were at June 12 watching a football match on a projected screen. The crowd was massive, then this guy from nowhere walks in front of the screen while casting his shadow on the screen, uplugs th whole set up.

What?? I was mad, I was furious to say the least, being someone who always tries to fight against oppression and mis-use of power. I screamed at him from the back, you needed to see the look of 'do you know who just screamed at' guys standing with me at the back gave me.

Everyone just stood up, protested silently in their hearts like monks meditating and left. I was shocked. I got to my room and told my roomates what happened. They told me I was VERY lucky the whole noise didn't allow my loud protest get to his ears, else I for collect. It turns out the guy is one of the respected **knowns**.

All this happened just beside the SUG building. SUG get mouth? Those ones sef no be agberos.

Mind you, this guy has graduated years ago fa.

I was right to have protested his action, but the crowd which comprised of students who know School like the back of their hands passed a subtle message across to me with their actions.

Anyway, it is well!
