Is there a knockoff for everything in China?

Don't you feel embarrassed at the multiple knockoffs you post, are you saying there's no original equipment in China?
lol

truth is elusive

do u know in the past Chinese universities students used to get projects to reverse engineer weapons etc. dont know if the trend is still on.
reverse engineering is their USP.
but i give credit to them because in reality reverse engineering is very hard to do for most of the systems.

Exactly. He types like he's inferior.
It's unfortunate. This was what i was saying to Nemesis2u about the traits i've observed with the Chinese guy. At-least i follow Sinodefence forum, i know they got thousands of amazing equipment, why he always chooses to post knock offs eludes me.

If Nigeria had the sort of Defence industry the Chinese have, this forum would not be enough to hold my post of high quality content. Restricting my posts to Nemesis's thread would have burnt down Seun's server, or maybe caused a WWW welt-down in west-africa.

I have never seen him post one thing on the J-20 or Type99 or DF-15 or Song class Submarines or the HQ-9.

I remember when the South-Africans were attacking him, he just kept apologising to them, i mean, it was hopeless. Most of the Chinese Defence enthusiasts i see Online wouldn't have accepted that.

Man, Chinese, you gotta quite posting contents that make you seem inferior. This is the World Wide Web, everybody is King in it.

That's not the point.

Besides, everybody reverse engineers, steal, copy, download, ask for assistance. It's a fact of the world we live in. I'm most concerned about the quality of chinese8107's posts. They always seem to exude and aura of inferiority.

I am not saying there is no original equipment from China.

no embarrassement. because China has been embargoed for decades by NATO. There is no place to buy a weapon sometimes. .Even Russia or Ukriane is not always willing to sell everything. Any other chioce? look at Iran and North Korea, they can't even make a knockoff.

making an original is good but not always necessery, and could be" not easy".

hehehe grin

everybody steals that is a different issue because not everybody have the talent to reverse engineer products spread across multiple fields.

example :

i steal a T/R module of an AESA radar . very good grin

next what huh

if i don't have atleast credible expertise on fabricating / designing a T/R module of an AESA radar on my own than trying to reverse engineering a stolen T/R module of an AESA radar is surely going to end in failure.

u need credible expertise on the said technology before u can reverse engineer a stolen product based on the same technology, otherwise it is an effort doomed to failure most of the time. cool

as I explained ,making some knockoff doen not nececerily inferior, sometimes countries making knockoff against each others, especially in high tech field. In stealth aircraft industry for example,korea,japan,turkey.ect...can you expect everything be original no knockoff or borrowing or cooperation ? Can they design it independently ?

As I rember I only posted 3-4 knockoff, does that make me look inferior?

The reason I don't post some amazing equipment is because there are online everywhere.anyone can find and post. And this is african forum I posted something related

Nope, i usually just follow the US navy thread created by BDPopeye, it's regularly updated.

Since Militaryphotos.net died off, everybody just went their separate ways to their respective regional or country forums. A central site no longer exists.

Typical Africaken...... when he wants to act weird, he takes it to the extreme. His comments on that day were most unfortunate.

The 4 additional UAVs which are new means, the NAF has so far built 13 UAS. A proper MALE should be next.
Although just a pipe-dream, it would be awesome if you guys can partner-up with Denel on the development of the Bateleur UAV as @frumentius previously pointed out!!

SAAF has been interested in a male UAV since 2008 but due to the projected cost of the project and budget cuts led to the cancellation of project Itambo!

anyway a few specs about the Bateleur: ( I know it's copied from wiki, unfortunately the Denel brochure doesn't exist anymore)

speed: 250 km/h
Range: 750 km- 3500km(Data-link enabled)
Endurance:24 hours
Service ceiling: 8,000 m
Load Capacity: 200kg

The Bateleur could potentially be armed with either Ingwe or Mokopa ATGMs

samyukta integrated electronic warfare system.

Chinese hackers tried to hack into the developers computers to steal it, weather they were successful or not is not know.

but what is interesting is that soon after that, development of a more potent and advanced version of this system was announced.
