Something is not right here. Is it appropriate for Buhari to present this kind of book now or after his tenure? We are hearing for the first time the number of officers disciplined due to the budget padding from the book instead of through his information team. I really don't understand.

It seems that our President is so obsessed with the recovery of looted money ( fighting corruption). But what will it benefit the country assuming he recovers ALL the looted monies since 1960 and the economy still collapses - as it has already done. I am tempted to think that he would have served us better as the head of the EFCC while an egg head leads the 200,000,000 of us ( no disrespect, Sir ). Imagine. A biographer giving us classified information. In a book? Damn it.

Back to your question, In the legal parlance you can steal what belongs to you when you take back your "belonging" without the due consent of the trustee/holder.

And who was supposed to be the trustee/holder of the oil revenues? I suppose the Niger deltans.. But politics had taken the oil revenue away from them to enrich others and build them houses while the owners of this oil can't even feed in a day! Yet suffers the consequences of fumes and other serious ailment...

But the headline was coined in such a way as to focus only on Jonathan.

Some people are just too obsessed with Jonathan as if he is the only past president. To them, Jonathan is the first president of Nigeria since 1960
They even forget that Buhari himself was a former head of state.
