This is a very interesting development as the National assembly had never summoned an incumbent president since the return to democratic governance in 1999. It will be nice to see the president honor the invitation and explain in details what his government is doing to get us out of the current recession. This is a democratic administration and no public office holder should be too big to come and explain to the representatives of the people when the need arises.

I doubt he understands the magnitude of the problems. He's surrounded by sycophants and politicians who deceive him everyday and fight for survival at the expense of the rest Nigerians. I condemn this invitation, i condemn it. There is no provision in the constitution whete the senate are empowered to invite or summon a sitting president.

This is a slap on Democracy and we must all condemn it.
