meeeeennnn i dnt want to over excited about dis because i dnt knw if its really happening.....
some months back i needed a verified US paypal acct, afta reading so many articles on how to go about it, then i decided to give it a try.
First thing to do was to download TOUCH VPN den run it and log on to my firefox and registered to paypal, although d number i used was a US number buh my all other info were my nigerian address buh afta registering den paypal sent me an email to add a credit card which i decided to add my gtbank credit card buh afta all dis i was still unable to use my paypal because wen i eva i click on "request funds"it will always show me ur acct as nt been verified l, dammnn i was s frustrated n left it for months..
LOW N BEHOLD only for me to loging yesterday n i say that i could click on both send and request without it showing any stupid message again.....here some screen shots...

Is it that PayPal now allows receive option on Nigerian account ?

seems like the guys at paypal do listen to people afterall. I added my signature to the petition about this withdrawal issue on change.org (and even tweeted about it) after reading this thread:

Your paypal account is US not a Nigerian one,
Nigerian paypal can't receive payment yet.
Nothing has changed.

That PayPal is not verified and you can't transfer money from that PayPal account to your bank account. its a normal thing that if you open a US PayPal account it can send and receive money from other PayPal user's. So what's is this noise all about, their is nothing new their

sebi i can use it to send and recieve from another paypal n also send? dats y i said "i really dnt knw how true it is" in my write up....buh thanks u just answered d question in me...

Last two months I wanted to withdraw money to PayPal and decided to call them on phone which they used to call me when I first open the acc. They told me that I can go to any country that PayPal send and receive money and open the acc then return to Nigeria. They gave me some list o African countries I can go to. Once done I can return to naija and operate my PayPal with Nig acc linked. When I asked them reasons behind not accepting Nigerians, the lady told me that they are seriously working on it but for now not...Although I gave her the name of website that I want withdraw money from and confirmed it legit,even when the website sent 1$ to my PayPal acc to confirm. In all, PayPal may work in Nigeria one day but my question now is, can I open acc in Cyprus and come to Naija to add my phone no.,and bank details?
