Based on what transpired between the DSS/police and gov wike early this morning and how the gov stopped the agences from arresting a federal judgee in the state even when they came with a search warrant ....am left to wonder what is the gov really protecting .
indeed, it is very curious why Gov. Wike would obstruct the Federal Government from arresting its erring employees. It can only mean that there is an unwritten collaboration between the governor and such employees of the Federal Government. Of course, it must be an unholy collaboration for that matter.

Wike is the Chief security officer of the state and it's his duty to protect the citizens of the state. Buhari should arrest the APC members that used #240,000,000, to clear grass and those that diverted over 70 trailers of foodstuff meant for the IDPS in the North.

The judge is a federal government staff...right? are you telling me that the fed gov does not have the right to arrest their own worker again?

Your missing the point. When you are resisting arrest the dss/police can do worst. All this pic is just propaganda and won't fly

The question is: if the "abductors" do not have hidden agenda, why would they come in the night?

Good point , resisting arrest is serious

If that Judge follows Alamesia's steps and vanishes, that's Aiding and abetting , harboring a fugutive on the part of Wike

I also think for wike to have prevented it , DSS has a leak , someone told Wike DSS was coming , if it's really midnight , it should be investigated

And no propaganda won't fly , we have read the news and we know they had $2M cash on them , that's what boggles my mind

JBUZZ:

The question is: if the "abductors" do not have hidden agenda, why would they come in the night?
So , there's a particular time to conduct arrests ??

Water has passed under the bridge, it is left for every 'sabinus' to tell us the 'colour' and the 'velocity' of the water.
Don't get it twisted OP, whether it is "arrest" or "search warrant" you termed it. for me, it is a clear case of intimidation!
judges and lawyers have been arrested and punished in the past without breaking their doors to effect such....
As for Wike's 'interference'
If you have the 'capacity' to intervene in the breakdown of Law and Order and you come up on a situation where the Law is being trampled upon, what would you do? Turn a blind eye and walk away?
While you ponder over that, I will also like you to reminisce on these!

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Look we're not in a despotic regime or military junta..
If even there 1billion pounds in that ause..what gave the impetus for dss to raid a judge ause..?
Who gave the the search warrant your talking. About..and what's the contend of the search warrant.

Now listen the judiciary is an independent arm of government and has it processes for punishing an erring judge..

All buhari is trying to do is to cage the judiciary and put fears in justices of the supreme court..making them vulnerable to him..there he absolutly controlling the judicial system..

But he failed..this 2016 and nigerians are smarter...his plan willl backfire..the judiciary will be shut down..lets see who he will control.

Thank God. Wike is a lawyer..and the wife a judge..
Wike saved democracy and he is a hero..let the president do his worst..

Did they come with a search warrant or arrest warrant?
And you want to execute it by 1am? This is not a Banana Republic. You break into hideouts of kidnappers and armed robbery suspects like this not a person who hasn't been invited by the security operatives. Even if it's a suspected criminal, the police can handle it but a team led by the DSS is........
Pls let me just keep quiet since our freedom of speech is no longer guaranteed.

even if the judge is the federal government property, what will happen if the FG follows due process ? Did they invite the judge and he refuse before invading his premises ? This are the questions we need to ask ourselves.

This was a surveillance that went on for months. The DSS followed due process.

The SSS initially submitted parts of its findings to the regulatory body, the National Judicial Council. Officials said the SSS moved in after the council merely recommended two of the judges for retirement, and not prosecution.

The council also refused to cooperate with the SSS as the agency launched wider investigations into the cases for more evidence. The source explained that judges whose homes were raided include Adeniyi Ademola, and Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court in Abuja as well as Sylvester Ngwuta and John Okoro of the Supreme Court.

Zombies and their empty heads.... what happened to following due process which Gov mentioned. Why storm their residence like assassins. This Government is taking Nigerians for granted and forgetting that this is a democratic dispensation. The people are watching and I hope they do not forget the events.
