It means you dont really know how the sss function.

Do you know that there are sss officers in every LGA/lcda? In remot villages?

Some of them pretend to be teacher and are in school, some ministries, agencies, even act as students in some tertiary institutions.

They are everywhere. But what i really dont know is how effectively they gather info and utilize it.

The act establishing the DSS is wide. The President has the statutory right to assignment responsibilities for them

(c) such other responsibilities affecting internal security within Nigeria as the National Assembly or the President, as the case may be, may deem necessary.

The DSS can investigate and subsequently make arrest on corrupt related matters as prescribed in the act establishing them. As long as the NA or the President authorized it to do so.

(3) The State Security Service shall be charged with responsibility for-

(a) the prevention and detection within Nigeria of any crime against the internal security of Nigeria;

(b) the protection and preservation of all non-military classified matters concerning the internal security of Nigeria; and

(c) such other responsibilities affecting internal security within Nigeria as the National Assembly or the President, as the case may be, may deem necessary.

My dear, eskwe the rule of law...these people, politicians and judges do not observe the principle of rule of law when they oppressing Nigerians, but when the FG might is poised against them, they will play to ethnic, religious and party sentiment.

Nigerians made this mistakes when they said they preferred tissue bearing certificate-less president to reasonable alternatives. Buhari may be an honest man but he lacks the competence to rule a nation like Nigeria. Nigeria is not his household where he holds absolute power. I hope he isnt booted out the way he was in 1985. It appears he has become worse from what was witnessed between 1983 - 1985.

No be today e don tey o, i grew up within the walls of my parents apartment, my four years sojourn in the higher institution was like an escape for me but two years after my NYSC, i begin to see the kinds of situations that my parents were protecting me from.
I felt like crawling back to those years of ignorance but i need to grow up and live with the evils of our society, sometimes i felt like if i can't beat them, why not join them, but something in me keep telling me that, if it works for others it WILL NOT WORK FOR ME.

'98), not to mention a democratically elected PMB (2016).

its a pity some set of people look at the unfolding events and call it ''fighting corruption''. From where i stand it is far from it. Firstly, the DSS are acting way out if their jurisdiction. This is just a typical shakedown and power tussle. If your corrupt fighter has the people at heart he should have order the re-opening of all cases that were tried wrongly, so as to release those serving unlawful jail sentences rather than arresting judges by 1am, i mean who those that........Smh
