This Fashola is playing some games here. Is he trying to please the Northerners who made him minister? We need these pre-paid meters here in the South. When it gets to our turn they will say it is finished or we have to pay before we can get one.

The sharing of free meters in the north is an effort of our state government.5y back the Niger state government put free meters in 123 quarters and most part of Minna.Nothing is stopping the southern States from doing the same.

We have paid since we built this house in Elebu, Oluyole ext yet no meter aand we keep clearing the bills for them to bring it from high see yet the container refused to Land for 3yrs now. Fashola is busy sharing meter in the north for Almajiris. Nice one from an Afonja fight lion. Always politicking everything.

there are two types of meters,single phase and three phase.in bedc where warri fall under,single phase is abot 35k while three phase is about 56k though the licensed electrical contractors may collect some money for processing all should not be more than 50/70k respectively.make ur bro no enta one chance o

please be informed that prepaid meters are free.the discos only collect money from customers through a scheme called CAPMI:credit advance payment for metering initiative because of the huge capital involved. imagine a disco that covers four states and has up to 100k customers want to purchase prepaid meter worth 30k+ each. that will be over 3bn,so customers are to pay for the meter then over time they get their money back when then vend(recharge their meter). u may be given units worth 4k when u take 2k to vend,that's 2k extra so if u pay 36k for instance for the meter,u get ur money back in 18months.
I think it is easy for state governors in the north cos those using power no plenty so if u give just 10k,the whole state may be covered unlike lagos that will require up to 500k meters,the gov no go want try am

Now three phase he tell me. Make i let am kn now because na this month end he dey go buy am oh. I dey wonder self say the meter too cost for that 85k.

Reason: people here in the south have paid for prepaid meter for over a year and they are yet to get it. The excuse? There's no meter available for now

But people who will get it for free are having it? Does that even make any sense to you?
