good day Sirs/mas
please am in a dilemma, I want your candid advice, I bought a roofing sheet around February, the guy sold it for me at the rate of #720 per one, and I bought 300 pieces which cost me #216,000.00, and i paid in cash, I now told the guy that I will be travelling to Abuja and it will take me some time before I will come back that he should help me and keep it in his store. Just last week the guy called me and told me that the cost of that slate now is #1,200.00 that if am coming to carry it I should come with extra cash to balance him or he will return back my money to me. pls house advice needed, is it right for him to add money to what i I have acquired since February? pls help. thank you as I await your response.

Don't you have the receipt of payment? But you shouldn't have kept it in his store that long. You know it will occupy some space for other goods too. I think he just want to scare you, when your ready go back to him and you both sort it out, but you just might consider adding something more for him because of the time wasted and the space it occupied over the months, Negotiation is the key here.
