the fight against corruption took a big turn this week as the judiciary system of Nigeria was shocked with a superman approach of media prosecution in what u will term as the JUDICIARY GATE this post will throw a little light on the judges and cases that took them to DSS 1) Supreme Court justices, John Inyang Okoro and Sylvanus Ngwuta, were arrested in connection with the receipt of bribes from Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State (PDP) 2) Justice Ngwuta reportedly traveled to Qatar to receive bribes that he shared with Justice Okoro and other justices in order to help Mr. Wike to win (PDP) 3) Justice Okoro is said to be building seven houses simultaneously in Calabar with the help of former Governor Godswill Akpabio and his predecessor Udom Emmanuel (PDP) 4) Justice Pindiga was cooperating with the DSS regarding his role in a bribery scheme over the Rivers State election tribunal from which he was removed as a judge (PDP) 5) The National Judicial Council, (NJC) has fired the Presiding Justice, Court of Appeal, Ilorin Division, Justice Mohammed Ladan Tsamiya, the Chief Judge of Enugu State, Justice I.A. Umezulike and a judge of the KanoState High Court, Justice Kabiru M. Auta for breaching the Codes of Conduct for Judicial Officers. (personal gain) but Justice Mohammed Ladan Tsamiya, has also been involved in bribe scandal of Anambra State of receiving bribe from Andy Uba (PDP) in 2007 6) Justice Adeniyi Ademola own crime was that he insisted on PMB to answer for the case about his WAEC result is it that the only corrupt judge in Nigeria are the once connected to PDP or is PMB just taking the country for a fool |
