Hello house, today was going on normally PHCN Supplied light and the Inverter was charging na, UPS modr on and stuffs..

All of a sudden this heavy rain started falling, thought it was normal na.. I continued with my business of the day..

All of a sudden Lightning struck and the inverter beeped and went off. Everything in the house went off too. Right now is smelling like electric burn.

Please what can I do any suggestions?? Please

Does your house/office have a Lightening arrestor , Was the connection properly grounded ??,I think the circuit is fried i just hope it has not affected all the appliances in your house .You can however diagnose the fault if you have some know how
1.Check/Change the fuse on the plugs connected to and away from the inverter
2.If you have a generator ,switch it on to see if your appliances are still working (don't connect the inverter oo)
3.I strongly advice you get a professional to check it out

Will leave it to a professional then.. Am sure no appliances spoilt.
