lanreni:I do agree with most of your assertions. However, its beats my wildest imagination to see people who toiled, had nuptial meetings, put on spot light by media, humiliated and derided for APC are being jettisoned for Mamman Daura and Abba Kyari, the duo perhaps, never believed Buhari in as the 15millions who voted him did back then. Buhari is setting a bad precedence that could make it hard to believe any politician that calls for merger again. |

I don't really understand what she is saying, is she fighting for the country or the party, if this ppl a competent I see nothing wrong with living them in their offices. Ministerial appointment shouldn't be based on party politics now. Aba |

Pathetically belated! You all hailed the President for 'choosing and appointing those he trusted' and for the fact that 'he has the best interest of Nigeria at heart', so where is this 'national interest cries' coming from. Buhari has taken charge, deal with it. |

iliyande:Be informed that not all appointments are along political line. If the president appoints an IGP of police, the IGP doesn't have to be a party man. A public servant who rises on the job to become a chief executive switches allegiance to any party that comes to power. This write up which suggests that when a new president comes to power, all those career men appointed by his predecessor must be sent packing is completely out of order. If for instance the Postmaster-General of country goes on retirement and the president appoints his deputy to succeed him, that is a carrier appointment and not a political appointment & so I do not expect the next president to just come & remove just because he was appointed by his predecessor. That is politics of bitterness. |

mickool:By 2019, PMB should officially be 76 or 77years. At this age I expect rapid physical & mental deterioration to have taken their course. As a Nigerian I do not expect him to behave like a statesman like Mandela, but they should allow votes to count. |

I can't join your fight by criticising Buhari. Your fight is to get appointed, mind is for good governance. Write about lapses in anti-corruption war, bad policies, nepotism, cronism, and mismanagement of Buhari’s government I give you 100% support. Any other talk is YOUR talk, fight it alone. This is what we need to understand. We have been taken for granted for too long. Patriotism for self and family. You shout because you are left out, the moment you join the train you abandon even the very people you started the struggle together. |
