Back to this issue; a meeting between two people is private. The constitution empowers the police and their likes to do such, not the judiciary ordinarily. When such recording is released without the permission of the other party, the one who released it has run foul of the law. Why do you think the judge placed emphasis on 'verbally'? These are men who sleep with law books and have studied/dished out verdicts, not me or you on Nairaland.

What had made this pastor to keep quiet until now? The pastor must also be corrupt. It's unfortunate that ministers of the gospel nolonger focus on what the are called for, but go abt raising false alligation against one another for financial gains.
I tot we are called into one community of faith. Were is the unity of the church Paul instructed the early believers to pursue. 7 billion naira ,"how does that affect his own function in the body of christ." We need to be very careful abt this false preachers of our time. We are called into one body, one spirit, one God and one Father of all Ephesians 4:4-6. I am begining to be skeptical abt the kind of pastors we do have in this our generation. Can't imagine a pastor rapidly leaving his area of calling and slowly dissentigrating to a political hallelujah boy. May God help us.

I'm yet to get the details of that case.

nd iam aware that that my friend is a controversial fellow,with suspicions hanging over his head..i will try nd get an evidence that will prove him to ve conspired with me,other that words of mouth.

What is this one saying? that amechi's case will not see the courtroom because of threats? who admits any case in court as a result of hearsay? in fact, it proves thatpeople had been offering him bribes without his speaking up. also, its an indictment on the NJC of their sluggishness in even protecting the good judges from monetary intimidation. by the way, i am waiting for the law that says you can't submit an unconsented recording to court.

Sorry for you wasting your time, but what relationship does hearsay have to do with the debacle between Amaechi and the NJC?

Well, one good thing about 'Mentions' is that it keeps strangers within reach. Let's see how it plays out.

Almost all Christians in Nigeria are false. That also means that almost all pastors in Nigeria are false. But there is a faithful remnants of christains in Nigeria. CAN is a can of worms and corruption. Also almost all the general overseers particularly the biggest seven will perish in hell in the judgment, as God also spoke through a young child a while ago, but many said she has demons. So it is not strange if corruption, lust, hypocrisy, love of money, greediness, etc. are found in that can.
