ahhhh ok that sounds reasonable. like if an ndigbo man finds himself homeless or in trouble in malaysia the brothers can all donate money and get him accomodation and help him out. its like having an ndgibo embassy / consul in the various countries ndigbo is at. thats a cool concept. seeing as nigerian embassy is useless in foreign countries. they always trying to extort you.
u get it bro... their moto is, don't leave your brother behind ( Onye ahana nwanneya) very affective, if their member died in abroad they will brought his corpse back to his ancestral homeland for proper burial rites they even make some cash available for the family so they can take care of their needs

eze Ndi Igbo in Malaysia ,serve as Igbo leader in that country they prefer to use local dialect eze instead of leader or President, Eze Ndi igbo represent the interest of it ethics group, my immediate brother once hold that title in Amsterdam, the position is either elected or merited, once ur tenure elapse u can rerun or hand it over to another person...
RIP
There is nothing wrong having a leader or representative in any country but must he dress like a king when he knows he is not.
Kingship is only given in one's ancestral land. So this whole Eze-ndigbo of a thing in a foreign land doesn't make sense to the word Kingship and Kingdom.

To crown him king in another man's world has a very strong spiritual consequences if he did not pay proper peity to the gods of that land. So the cause of his death is simple......," Spiritual strangulation"

Have you heard of heart failure or sleep apnoea that can happen as a result of the victim being fat? He wasn't in best of shape and you are probably in the same shape at the moment and most like to encounter the same faith.

What kind of nonsense chief is that. Some Igbo guys is just too stupid when they come across money. They must have dealt with him accordingly as per things they go into.

But why do they wear crown?A symbol exclusive to Kings.Just curious though.
the crown is a symbol of authority, once ur people recognize u as their prime minister and sole representative u are entire to wore crown... I do at times wore crown during any of cultural service in my church, that does not make me a king, I merely wore it to showcase the good culture of my people

u seem not to understand by previous reply, I said deliberately blend it with local dialect Eze instead of President or leader... people do answer Eze in Igbo land as people answer kings in England

What is the essence of Eze ndigbo in Malaysia if not the continuous dominating attitude the SE is known for. They operate like the shiite group who will never succumb to the local authorities of their communities but rather form their own government within another government. This is why an Eze was flogged in ondo and Oba of lagos threatened them with lagoon all because of the same attitude. Who knows if the community king in Malaysia invoked the spirits of their ancestors to terminate the existence of the so called Eze ndigbo. Even though i love and have nothing against the igbos, i think they should learn to respect their host
Bitter bigot, even at someone's death you're still showing your hatred just cos the person is Igbo. Would you have said this if the deceased is of another tribe? Tomorrow, when the Igbos demand to be on their own, people like you will be ranting everywhere accusing them with all sorts of rubbish. Lest I forget, stop deceiving yourself, you don't like the igbos, you have deep seated animosity and hatred for them. All tribal bigots and racists are always wont to hide their hatred and bitterness by saying "I don't have anything against..."

Don't respond to tribalist. Raise above it and take a wider perspective of the world.

Tribalism is a very local and narrow mindset.

I love Igbo's

Child of hate and envy -If Igbos say let us go una say no stay in Naija.

We will not change one bit. Igbo was igbo before entity called Nigeria and will remain industrious Igbos despite all the wickedness Nigeria has visited on Igbos and Igboland. Go and worry about recession and book haram and leave the Great Igbos alone.

Rip to the dead man that you hate. Nigeria won the bitter civil war but Nigeria is loosing the hearts and mind propaganda if you don't know bc of your type - haters
FYI There are 50 million more of us to continue the fight for freedom so continue with the hate it will only reinforce our determination and will have one outcome down the road

"Continues dominating attitude the SE is known for"

Me: I will never be 'dormant' in life rather I will 'dominate'

You sound too bitter, and your comment is full of hate and perceived envy... people like you don't go far in life they're only good on how to destroy, tarnish ones image and even kill and pretend they're your best friend.

I see no reason why some people of your kind are bitter about igbo people having their eze (which literally means leader or president) in anywhere they found theirselve, this is not a big deal of which I know every tribe or group of people have organisation once they found theirselve in another country or state within Nigeria. It is the spirit of oneness, be your brothers keepers ( onye aghala nwanne ya) don't reject or forget your brother or sister, they provides help to each other in time of need or emergency. That's the ideas and aim of forming all that organization In diaspora, which is not practice by the igbos only.

Respecting the 'host' I really do not understand what you meant by that, for instance I came your state to live, I pay my house rent, I do my business, I pay tax, I pay for nepa, hospital, water bills, I don't look for trouble because I always mind my business/work. What other respect are you expecting from me?? Not to associate with my tribesmen?? Heck no!!!! That's stepping on my toe and tampering my constitutional rights.

You are just so happy saying an eze was flogged and your oba threatening to get people drowned..am not gonna comment much on this because is too shameful on the side of your oba and the people that allegedly flogged the eze/leader.

You claim you have nothing against the igbos, well, that's your concern but whenever you wanna make a public statement try not to be biased. Otherwise many people will go against your opinion.

Peace!!!!

Rest in peace to the dead undecided
