Its true I don't support Rochas in anything he ventured into since I noticed that he has nothing to offer Imolites but on the issue of Dr. Mrs Angela I think the Federal Civil Service and the Head of service of the federation don't joke with issue of tenure of serving employees of the federal government and as such if they deemed it fit that Dr. Angela deserve another 4 years term according to civil service rules so be it and as such I would not support a situation where some people will just level unnecessary allegation against her just because some one is interested in that post and as such doing everything to occupy it. The court I feel is the best place to pronounce her guilty or otherwise and that is my take on this matter

After destroying FMC, Owerri, the same forces who believe that Imo state doesn't extend beyond Owerri faced IMSUTH, because it is outside the state capital.
Since 1976 when Imo state was created, the successive state governments have influenced the building of two Cities in one Owerri. But rest of Imo state remain mostly rural with no modern development infrastructure.

What happened to FMC Owerri is a continuation of one group who believes that the state is their property because their area is pronounced state capital.

No body is trying to strangle IMSUTH is a state health institution while FMC Owerri is a Federal Institution. The equipments and cost of treatment in both hospitals you cannot compare, besides do you expect somebody from other parts of Imo State to leave FMC Owerri that is central and cheaper to drive down to Orlu where IMSUTH is located.

I really do not understand the italized part of your comment bro. I really don't.

I am neither an Imolite nor a resident of Imo state, but with the news littered online and offline about her, she really must be far from being innocent.

This is not even an issue for the court. Afterall, if she has succeeded in making the Governor her ally, what makes you think the court wont even pronounce her an innocent sheep? At least, not with this our present breed of corrupt judiciary.

The people should keep on with their protests, backing it up with earnest prayers. Remember, we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

Last year when i went for my delivery via c.s ,that day same protest was held, i ran to a private hospital to have my baby. That F M C Wahala Too Much.

FMC Owerri has been the subject of power tussle for the past 18 months simply because of one woman; Dr.Mrs Angela Uwakwem and corruption. Here is a woman who has been on the helms of the hospital affairs for close to 11 years now. With 18 counts charge of corruption hanging on her head, she was meant to appear in court on 11th of October 2016, but it was adjourned till 15th November 2016. Suddenly, the Interim management committee were ordered to vacate the centre for her to take over. With intimidation and connivance with the commissioner of police; Taiwo Lakanu, she invaded the hospital premises with up to 400 mobile policeman on 19th of October 2016 (last week Wednesday) shooting teargas at workers. The aftermath of which claimed the lives of 7 newly born babies.

All these happening with the connivance of even the number one citizen of Imo state in the place of Rochas Okorocha. The question is, WHY ONE WOMAN AGAINST MILLIONS OF PEOPLE?? IS SHE THE ONLY MD IN NIGERIA CAPABLE OF HEADING FMC, OWERRI? WHY CANN'T WHAT HAPPENED IN EKITI STATE HAPPEN HERE (In Ekiti state their MD was changed after just a day protest even though his offences were not concretely established but here is a woman brimming with corruption she is still doing things with impunity).

Today, 25th October 2016, the organized national body of JOHESU/TUC labour unions are on "Operation Occupy FMC, Owerri. Comrades from South West, South South and South are marching in protest. Rochas and Angela have hired thugs coupled with the policemen they have on ground, not caring for patients' welfare. SO ALL YOU PEOPLE OF GOODWILL SHOULD WATCH THIS PAGE FOR MORE UPDATES AND LET'S ALL BETTER WAKE UP TO FIGHT THIS CORRUPTION STARING AT US IN THE FACE FOR THE SAKE OF POSTERITY!

I work at Fmc owerri and I can say no baby died, only one shot of teargas was used and it was used only wen they were becoming violent. in same hospital where nurses sell hospital gloves and materials? account people will collect money from patients and put it in their pocket and give receipts dey printed from home? where lab people bring samples from outside to run investigation on federal government funds and collect money? where dey sell donated blood? her major offense is she didn't allow all dese to happen wen she was dere, thou am not saying she is a saint but she is d best medical director in the whole country. the poorest people in Fmc owerri are d doctors.
