I didn't even have much but i had some services to pay for urgently. I needed to withdraw 70k and it's understood that the ATM machine is programmed such that it does not dispense more than 20k at a time. I thought if i am to be charged the stipulated N65, that should be once and since the machine does not dispense more than 20k, i had to make withdrawal four times to get the amount. Do you know that the bank charged me N65 on each of the transactions? N65 x 4 = N260, that is the amount of money deducted from my account as charges for using ATM in a day. Is this right at all? Is this not fraud? How could bank place these kind of charges on customers when their machine is programmed not to dispense more than 20k in a single transaction? I have the alerts here to prove my claims. One of the reasons that at times, thinking about dumping your money in the bank is not truly a nice decision as these people feast on your money the way the like. It's quite annoying.
