maclatunji:Lol thank you but, I think I did. I told you, they have a right to their feelings on the man, regardless. And why single out Igbo ppl? Some Yorubas don't like Buhari cause he's Hausa (I assume o), some Hausas don't like GEJ cause they mistakenly think he's Igbo. What's the big deal, na Naija we dey na. Are you surprised? |

plaetton:Do you remember Joe Igbokwe's appeal to Igbos similar to the issue I am addressing? |

maclatunji:we should consider the fact that the military patronize aba made boots and innoson 1billion dollar deal as a favour from buhari to the east. Are u kidding? |
| Re: The Emerging Headache Of The Igbo Ethnic Bigot by plaetton: 1:57pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
maclatunji:Even more insult. If Igbokwe was truly an Igbo, he would have known that Igbos , as a people, have the most diverse opinions and feelings on national issues. Igbos are not people you lump in a basket. Even within my own household and extended family, we have so much diverse opinions on national issues. The one thing we do have in common is that we don't like our collective destinies to be influenced, shaped or determined by someone or people with the mental agility equal to a loaf of bread. Buhari is the most divisive and incompetent leader we have ever witnessed in Nigeria. One doesn't have to be Igbo to realize that. Buhari has pushed Nigeria 30 or 40 years back. If that is not worth resenting, I don't know should . |

Igbos do business with hausas, maybe Igbos are out spoken and they speak their mind saying things the way they see it. We are not dummy, thinking u can just suppress us? Let your leaders work on an all inclusive government, not paddy paddy or winner takes all kind of government. If Igbos are bigots then I don't think u'll find them in all part of the country? Rather it's u that's the bigot that don't say the truth or criticise your leaders constructively which give rise to various uprising and agitation in the country. Leave Igbos alone and face ur region, we have enough issues to contend with. Goodday |

maclatunji:. N Bellow is ur post that I quoted where u infered that igbos hated buhari simply because he's from north
. The only reason some people oppose President Buhari is that they are Igbo and he is from the North and they are placed in an untenable position when it becomes obvious that his policies are benefitting their people. |

MrsPhyno:See Joe Igbokwe Addressing Igbo Bigots maclatunji: Ever since President Buhari won the 2015 Presidential elections he was destined to win having labored in 2003, 2007, 2011 and then 2015 a very vast preponderance of South South and South East indigenes have descended on the President, pouring invective, calling him names, abusing his person and his exalted office, preaching hate, and ethnic divisions. |

plaetton: Igbokwe is not even regarded as a true Igbo man, he has sold his birthright for a plate of appointment in Lagos state. |

| Re: The Emerging Headache Of The Igbo Ethnic Bigot by maclatunji(op): 2:06pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
plaetton:You see what I am talking about ? Because Igbokwe was brave enough to address the issue, "he is no longer Igbo'. The truth hurts but you guys need to change. Someone like you pretends to be objective but you are not. There is no need for an objective Igbo person to spar with me on this. |
| Re: The Emerging Headache Of The Igbo Ethnic Bigot by Nobody: 2:08pm On Oct 27, 2016 |

Edenoscar:Of course not. However, the people I talk about are so anti-Buhari that these pieces of news put them in an awkward position. If you are not one of them just relax. |

| Re: The Emerging Headache Of The Igbo Ethnic Bigot by plaetton: 2:21pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
maclatunji:Igbokwe can be anything he likes. I cannot deny him his identity. But it's funny and very hypocritical of you to demand objectivity here while referencing Joe Igbokwe, a unabashed and conspicuous spokesman of the APC and a mouthpiece of the APC propaganda machinery. ![]() So, this is the man that Igbos should listen to ? The main problems with you Igbophobes is that most of you have never been to Asaba, talkless of crossing the Niger bridge. You get and weigh your Igbo experience from the shop owner down your street or from watching soap operas. Your ignorance is loud and clear. And just to remind you, do you remember when you were a mod in the Muslim religious section, and you wouldn't allow non Muslims to post threads and comments on your section ? For whatever justifications you needed to do that, then consider it the same justification that makes you incompetent, an insult, to try to pontificate about national issues relating to Igbos. |

[s] plaetton:[/s] Emotional beings incapable of seeing beyond their hatred. Igbokwe voice on igbo matters should be discounted because he is an APC member. Can everyone see he proves the op right? Please someone should ask this emotional liar how did mac stop anybody from posting in the Muslim section? Since we all know Mac couldn't have blocked IP address of non Muslims? a place even the atheist owner of nairaland still post in? |

maclatunji:can you guys take a day off without creating an idiotic Igbo thread |
| Re: The Emerging Headache Of The Igbo Ethnic Bigot by plaetton: 3:04pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
vedaxcool:Yes, can anyone expect objectivity from a person who derives his livelihood as a propaganda mouthpiece ? Besides, like I said before, for him to actually target his diatribes towards Igbos clearly shows that he doesn't understand the Igbo Psyche. There is NOT one opinion or worldview that is uniquely Igbo. Joe Igbokwe would have done better addressing the entire nation , rather than focus on Igbos, a paid hack job. He , just like you Igbophobes, don't get it. And I repeat and confess, yes, we feel terribly awful that our collective destinies are in the hands of a clique of fossilized Dinosaurs and mountain goats. That's enough to make any of us very emotional. |

vedaxcool:Of course. If you had any human emotions, you wouldn't be supporting that old goat that is balkanizing every decent thing this country has enjoyed for the last 16years, right from where his brother and comrade , Abacha, left it. This old goat is about to further mortgage the future generations of Nigerians by another $30b he intends to borrow, with no clear blueprint for development. |
