A Kogi state Senator Salihu Ohize has been confirmed dead according to a close family source. Otaru Salihu Ohize (born 5 February 1953) was elected Senator for the Kogi Central constituency of Kogi State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. He is a member of the Action Congress (AC).
