There's a Lagos state owned park around the jetty at ibeshe next to dangote factory, maybe you can check it out. It's just a park where they can run around and probably have a a picnic oh. Some hotels may have swimming pools that you can take them too as well. Do share details of this fun factory please!

I'm a Ftm and my baby is 12 days old. When he was 4 days old, I noticed that's he poos after every feeding (EBF). I took him to see the doctor and he said the poop is okay.
My worry now is that he poos immediately after every feeding. For the past fews day I changed my diet to bread and water only to see if there will be change but there isn't any change. I change diaper 6-7 times in 24hrs.
What can I do?

Hello everyone, it's been a while i hail all mothers and babies in the house. Please for those that took the chickenpox and mmr recently, how much did u get them in your places. The hospital i use are saying it's scarce amd it goes for 10,000 and 12,000 for mmr on getting to another place today they said mmr is 5,000 that's like 7k difference. I'm now confused should i wait till my trusted hospital get their with the huge amount or go for the 5k. Sorry for my gibberish gist na recession cause am. Thanks

Congratulations on the birth of your lo.
It is very normal. His system is still getting used to life outside the womb and As his digestive system gets more efficient at extracting nutrients from his food the frequency of the poo will reduce.

Please eat as normal and keep it healthy. There is no need to worry as long as he is feeding well, alert and putting on weight.

At 2months or so I noticed a lymph nodes(i call it lymph nodes cos that is what google called it) at the back of my ds ears. one was so moveable while the other was not,later on one dried up a little while the other,the not so moveable one is still there looking at me. it is quite visible,like two size sokoto bean.

I also noticed two lymph nodes at the tail end of his neck in sept. these ones are not visible cos flesh covered them.

will they still disappear mamas? my ds is totally fine.

Did you collect the pneumococca booster? It's free now. Will go and take it tomorrow. My baby's MMR and chickenpox is scheduled for month end cos I was told I have to take it one month after taking measles vaccine.

My baby is 10weeks old today...I have been feeding him with 120ml every 2-3 hours..except he sleeps longer than 3hours but once he wakes I feed him. Recently, I started making it 130ml . But I don't seem to be comfortable with his poo frequency. It is too frequent except at night (he doesn't poo throughout the night for more than a week now)...like every 2-3hours too and very loose...My mind occasionally thinks diarhea but then no fever or weakness. Google says overfeeding can cause loose poo but does not categorically mention what quantity is too much.
What quantity do you feed your babies and how many diapers do you change?

Just seeing this. My baby is on EBF as well, and I bottle feed most times with breast-milk. I used to give him 90ml before, then he started crying for more, So I made it 120ml and when he wouldn't finish it I reduced it to 105ml (around 3.5 ounces). He usually eats between 2.5 hours to 4 hours but since Monday, his sitter has told me he's been eating more. I dropped him off around 6:20am and he had already eaten 3 bottles of 3.5ml breast-milk. That's 10.5ml in around 6 hours. I added an extra bottle to his bottles this morning. Will see how he fares with it when I get home this evening.

As for diapers, he's been pooping well and enough(most of the time when I feed him). I get at least 4 poopy diapers in a day. And I use between 7-12 diapers a day. But pretty much an average of nine. This is because don't like him sitting around in his waste (fear of diaper rash). Don't fear about lose stools, breast-milk poop isn't supposed to be hard. So far its not green, too watery, slimy or black, he is fine.

Breast-milk is pretty much water anyways, so just feed him on demand

Mine had two tiny ones on his head. I freaked out but the doctor said it was fine. They're both gone now. To be safe though, see a pediatrician.

Yes i did oooo and u won't believe i paid 9k for d booster alone.
We took our measles at 9month then mmr n cp n pneumococcal at 1yr then we went back 6wks later for 2nd doze of mmr n cp

2 diapers per day? Now I've seen it all! Lol, this is the definition of "Keeping up with the Joneses". Gas diaper now turned to what people admire on babies. Can people even tell what kind of diaper your baby is wearing? Whether Nigerian, American, Somalian....diaper na diaper, na to pack baby's poop and pee.

Mama I hear bio oil or ori is quite good for curing stretchmarks. I don't have a first hand experience using these products but a lot of people swear by them. My friend who got stretchmarks during pregnancy says it helped clear hers.
