ije22:The commonsense in it is that forex earned from export of the rice will help boost supply of forex to importers who want import dead chicken, toothpick, brazillian hair, and substandare electronics from China. This would drive dollar rate down and help your commonsense àss. |

we have EDIOTS as leaders, we are not self sufficient yet and we are bragging of exporting rice, No nation can enjoy lasting peace if her citizens live in abject poverty particularly if that nation is acknowledged as having the ability and substantial means to provide development and guarantee a good standard of living. Unfortunately, that is the tale of Nigeria. It is a tale of poor governance, insecurity and poverty in the midst of plenty.... I never believe in this government for one single day |
| Re: Nigeria To Begin Rice Exportation - Prof. Bola Okuneye by deolu2000(m): 10:00am On Nov 03, 2016 |
The only thing the govt can do is to assist in making the local rice more polished and improve in standard, they should also tighten the boarders to ensure smugglers of foreign rice go out of business, that way we shall all eat our own rice, but if these measures are taken and people stil prefer tailand rice, bico export it abroad and leave the little for the ones that are ready to patronize the local rice. |
