It is not just the production of rice that is important. It is also critical to put in place effective logistics & distribution facilities that can be used to transport the rice from these states to different parts of the country, without compromising on its quality.

It has been reported that 40% of agricultural produce rots away, because of lack of effective transportation to move them from farms or primary points of sale, to end users or consumers, in different locations. undecided

If truly they are bags of Rice, how come they are not yet sighted in Lagos Iddo Rice market. What you see in the pix cannot feed Kaduna state. Govt should do more and ban imported rice permanently.

What is the batch code?
What about traceability?

It was never said they intended exporting rice for the now.... They earmarked 5years and only if production was sustained and improved on in summary, so stop getting it twisted.
