Bullshit ... compare our GDP per capita with theirs. Wages going up... how many people are in the Ghanaian government.
the Ghanaian private sector employs more people. We dont need a large government and we dont have a large government. how much of that GDP have influenced Education and health? tell me, when you are done thinking backward then we can talk. your tantrums are not getting you there

True that it took 5 years for the Ghanaian Cedi to hit 3.9 cedis to a Dollar and has stayed so for almost a year now. The Naira useed to be 50 Naira to a Cedi but now it's around 76 Naira to a cedi and quickly hitting 80 Naira to a Cedi
Cedi dollar rate was about 1:1 in 2008. So it took roughly 8years to depreciate to the current 3.9.... in spite of the depreciation, economic progress and a number of social interventions have helped lift majority of Ghanaians out of poverty. Just last week, Senegal sent a delegation to study the National Health Insurance Scheme in Ghana. Nigerians have things to learn from Ghana. Even with power, you find this type of onion light bulbs in use. These bulbs were banned in Ghana some years back because they are not energy efficient. Today all households in Ghana use energy saving bulbs. On the other hand, you find these bulbs in use in Nigeria - a country whose electricity supply is woefully inadequate.

Ghana is still a work in progress - a number of good policies are in place to keep the country on a path to sustainable development. Can we say same for Nigeria?

Lol ,this "giant" lording it over Ghana and SA can't even manage to lord over its own refineries, its oil industry, can't compete with Shoprite on home turf, can't keep stable electricity and still has polio cases in the north.

How can you lord it over countries that are clearly doing much better than you? Its crazy.

truefact:
It took buhari just a year to bring naira to 450 to dollar, but took almost 3 years for Ghana cedis to trade to 400 cedis to a dollar equivalent of 400 naira and it never crossed 400...

Before 100 naira will be equivalent of 200 Ghana cedis, just about 8 months back, but now 100 naira is 9 cedis
1 Ghana cedis is above 100 naira now. Do your research.

Stop grasping on air. Crude oil is what makes Nigeria thick. Recession you're experiencing now is because of low oil price and disruption of oil flow. What will happen in the case of zero oil production or alternative energy to oil? I repeat the entire population of Nigeria is unproductive. A country that imports virtually everything including tooth pick is grossly unproductive. When you tell yourself the truth and accept it is when start thinking of a way foward. Stop deceiving yourself.
You are totally ignorant. Nigeria produces thousands of products, from vehicles to paint, from chemicals to machineries. There are factories dotted all over the country. They are not there for decoration. Have you ever entered a Nigerian factory in your life? I very much doubt it. Your problem is that you are so full of inferiority complex, ignorance and laziness, that common research is beyond your ability or inclination. Far easier to peddle idiotic, beer-parlour nonsense about ''toothpicks''. Shameless man. If Nigeria ''imports toothpicks'', does that not mean an opportunity is open for you to produce locally? What are you doing sitting on your backside? You expect the govt to build toothpick factory for you? Is that the government's job?

No need ranting like a rabid mad dog. Statistics are there to judge. Nigeria produces cars, nigeria factories dotted all over blabla blabla. Nigeria produces vechicle and still import cars? Your problem is that you shy from the truth, hence you keep suffering. Stop glorifying a lost country. Nigeria is suffering and poor because Nigeria leaders are myopic and don't encourage science and technology. Do you how much us, germany, uk invest on science and technology yearly but such can't be said of Nigeria where information and propaganda is giving more pirority and investment than science, technology and education put together. Talk about enabling enviroment that will enable investors and research oriented people to thrive, talk about epileptic power. Funny people

well, the opposition party is doing its job to secure power. i see it to be good for democracy and the development of Ghana - a strong opposition serves as a check on the incumbent government. It's up to Ghanaians to make the choice of going with the incumbent government or the opposition party.

The rest of your ''analysis'' is worthless. You're really not qualified to criticise. You should be in a classroom to be honest.
