Is it because Sëun is an atheist that lackluster and generic Christian topics flood the fp every Sunday?

Where are the mentally-stimulating and open-ended topics?

If you aren't moving bobby-dazzlers and topics with lots of talking points to the fp, then stop insulting Christians with the damp squibs you keep moving to fp -- it's as if the Mod(s) in charge moves any kind of topic just to to fulfil all righteouness.

...

Our Muslim brothers and sisters have brilliant topics grace the fp every Friday; plus you can't even comment in their sect without agreeing to accept Allah first, but they can whizz in and out of ours anytime they want.

This is nothing but pure injustice, and this trend has been going on for a while now.

Maybe all Christians should boycott Nairaland for a week, because it seems all of our pleas have been falling on deaf and indignant ears.
You're on point. I was trying to comment on one Islam related topic when i was told to accept a declaration which will be made on my profile, nobody showed me the exit door.

Dear OP, your neighbour is that begger who passes across your compound everyday and you don't even turn and give a Look..

Not the guy in a range Rover that drives across your street and you use two hands and feet just to greet

# preaching what you don't practice

Your neighbors are those people who are directly or indirectly affected by your acts or omisions that you ought to have them in contemplation as been so affected when directing your acts or omissions which are called in question.

The case of Donoghue v Stevenson 1932 is very important, as it set a major precedent - the legal concept of duty of care.

In the 1932 case, the judge, Lord Atkin, defined the "neighbour" principle . Lord Aitken stated that a "neighbour was anyone who is so closely and directly affected by my act, or failure to act, that I ought reasonably to have them in my contemplation".

you noticed right? even the unsuspecting 'Christian' will indulge in the act of ridiculing their faith to get 'likes'....but fret not, the Gospel has been subjected to worse over the centuries...it still stands strong.

Christians need not to despair over this, in fact, they should be at peace with the injustice they are made to go through here. The reason is simple yet effective: the rivalry between Islam and Christianity is not a religious one as many believe, (I hope you know that Christianity is not a religion, it's more than that, it's a lifestyle). Christians should be happy because they are in a path that could lead them to Salvation regardless of human machinations against them: and again, salvation is absolutely free, no hidden charges, no terms and conditions.

In the Bible, there are many accounts of religion opposing Christianity. The Samaritan woman beside Jacob's well told Jesus that the well has been serving them since Jacob built it, but Jesus told her if only she knew who he was, she would ask for the everlasting water so that she wouldn't thirst again: this is very analogous to religion. Religion helps to quench the innermost thirst of our souls, but, just like the Samaritan woman who keeps coming back to the well when thirsty, our souls keep going back to religion whenever our souls are thirsty. When Christ came with the ultimate Thirst quencher, it was hard for religious people to break the cycle of religion they've come to believe for years.

Again, in the Bible, there was a man who came to Jesus and asked what he must do to be eligible for the kingdom of God: Jesus told him to follow the commandments, he told Jesus he'd following those commandments since childhood! then Jesus told him to sell off his properties and give the proceeds to the poor: he left Jesus's presence in despair. Following the commandments since childhood meant he must have been religious since childhood, now Christ came into his life, giving him a simpler, yet different from the norm, means of salvation. He was confused.

Christians ought to be very happy. if not for anything, the fact that they strive to follow the ways of Christ should be enough an inspiration. However, Christ did not come to condemn religion, He only came to simplify it. That injustices ooze from this forum towards Christianity is only an indication that some people somewhere are not ready to accept Christianity as a way of life.

They need prayers. . . . .

The neighbourhood principle propounded by Lord Akinson in the case you cited. Kudos to you, dear. You are a learned man.
