US Election: Lessons I Learnt by oluwafreshkid(op): 5:05pm On Nov 09, 2016
The US Elections have come and gone... a winner has emerged in Donald Trump. Hate him or like him, he'll be there for the next 8 years.
However a few lessons should be learnt by Nigerians and her government
1: Trump has always been a business man, never did politics. But he was able to swing the electorate in his favour.
Don't keep voting for same set o recycled politicians and think they'll perfom better just cos they switched party.

2: No case of electoral violence.
This goes especially to our youths don't turn to political thugs. #votenotfight

3: There was no case of "free APC Akara", "GEJ Rice" "PMB biscuits" "vote APC and collect 1k"
Don't sell your votes, it will come beck to haunt you.

4: Hillary called Trump immediately the results were announced conceding defeat. She's not been hailed as a "hero"
Don't praise this politicians when they do what is expected of them. It is normal.

shatap there @ no. 3 have you ever in history of Africa see an African incumbent conceed easily without a fight?
Gej played a matured politics, disappointed many people that taught he's power drunk including the terrorists in aso rock called Buhari and he played first of his kind politics in Africa thus confared with the title "African hero of democracy" saving many dogs and baboons that should have been soaked with blood.
American is an advance country so it's no biggie there especially under pure free and fair election but here in Africa it's a big deal because we're still advancing cool

Please let's shout this from the rooftop.

Some people need to have this hammered onto their skulls and imprinted indelibly on their brains.

In an election, remember there's always a winner and a Loser. Thus when you run, it is only normal that if you lose, you vacate the seat. Remember I said normal. Now, is someone celebrated for doing something normal, or extraordinary?
