How many people purposely grow Oha now? Most of what we are eating now were met on ground! Growing up in Lagos, we had 3 Oha trees in our compound and had leaves for soup all year round as against the ones in the village that tend to be seasonal. We did regularly sell to Igbo market women who sell soup condiments in our neighbourhood rather than them depending only on the ones coming from the East.

Anyone who has matured trees of it in Lagos/Ogun rolls in good money because it is a premium vegetable in the market amongst the igbos and way expensive!

Where I live in Ogun state, the omo-oniles are busy selling their lands for real estate. I am talking about 1000s of hectares. They even sold so much to RCCG for their new business center sad
