Bla bla bla as if that makes sense, what's poverty rate of your country or no corruption in kenya ?. with population less than 50m kenya still have poor people everywhere. Just point out one thing you have in kenya that nigeria doesn't have two to three times. Go compare your country with Ghana and likes, because i don't see anything to compare between Nigeria and that your mini state.

OK!
1.Kenya has free primary school education to all children
2.Free medical care to all children aged 5yrs & below
3.Kenya provides free maternity to all expectant mothers.
4.Kenya provide student loans to all university going individuals in both private & public university.
5.Kenya provides the cheapest electricity connection to all citizens in East & Sub Sahara africa.............50,000/= Naira
6.Kenya has stable power supply
7.All primary school going level 1 students are provided with free laptops
8.All secondary level pupils in public school have half their school fee paid by the goverment
9.Kenya provides cheap universal healthcare through NHIF(National health Insurance Fund) with monthly remittance of less than 500Naira
10.Free monthly remittance to the elderly over the age of 65yrs

So please show us the two or three.....

I hate debating will with empty heads, kenya do all this and still a third world country ?. Then what and what will your country have again to be a develop country. My friend listren only population of pupils Lagos state and Imo state give free education are more than what your entire country have, not to talk about 10 to 15 states that give free education from primary to secondary schools in Nigeria, kenya with less than 2000mw of electricity have average power while Nigeria have more than 5000mw. come to your university education i don't think that what fed universities pay in nigeria is fees because here some schools pay less than 30,000 naira and that less than 100$ a semester. so kindly lets know how much they pay in your university before giving them loan.as for other things you wrote up there i know you're making yourself feel better.

If you people like tell your government to put advertisement of your country on Cnn nobody care.until i see someone that'll convince me that it's easier to be a dollar millionaire in kenya than Nigeria then I'll take that place as a country. For now Me and many well to-do Nigerians see that place as backward place.

Some times i doubt your age and mental capacity, like seriously!!!

Yeah you can continue doubting, because i don't bring down myself to your level then you can say anything you like. You think everyone that come to nairaland is church rat like you, you see upcoming nigerians in kenya and you generalize it and think all Nigerians are trooping to kenya for greener pasture. Tell me what well educated person from Nigeria will be looking for in kenya? When there are countries like USA,CANADA, AUSTRALIA so on or a big business man will leave nigeria with big population and opportunities then come to kenya. in your mind you think those you see in your street in kenya or those chatting with you here are what makes Nigeria thick.

I am fine, she's too busy in England, it's best if I don't disturb the poor woman. Will you be able to eat tonight?
If not, I am sure us Kenyans can put together a UN-Nigerian food delivery, it's pretty pathetic that a Kenyan cares more about the Nigerian people than the actual Nigerian government. But someone has to care for my brothers and sisters

40% of Nigerian children aged 6-11 do not attend any primary school with the Northern region recording the lowest school attendance rate in the country. Increased enrollment rates have also created challenges, It is not rare to see cases of 100 pupils per teacher or students sitting under trees outside the school building because of the lack of classrooms.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/poor-rating-for-lagos-education-intervention-projects/

Recall that on November 7, 2014, Vanguard did a report of the Ajeromi Ifelodun Secondary School, AIJSS (alias Sinclair), in the popular ghetto city, Ajegunle, titled: “Lagos secondary school where students sit on floor, windows to receive lectures.” In the school, Vanguard gathered that the JSS1 and JSS2, annually, parents whose children got admitted into JSS1, are usually compelled to pay N2, 000 for the provision of furniture (chairs and desks). It was learnt that parents who failed to pay the said amount have their children sit on bare floor, tyres, broken furniture, classroom windows, or even stand during lessons. Arguably, this is the situation in some of the schools across the state, especially those in suburb areas.

KENYA

KenGen is the leading electric power generation company in Kenya, producing about 75 percent of electricity capacity installed in the country. The company utilizes various sources to generate electricity ranging from hydro, geothermal, thermal and wind.
Hydro is the leading source, with an installed capacity of 819.9MW, which is 51 per cent of the company installed capacity. Geothermal is currently at 533.8MW (of which 81.1MW is from the innovative wellheads technology raising geothermal capacity to about 32% of the total installed capacity. Our total thermal capacity is 253.5MW while wind comprises 25.5MW.
Following the full operationalization of the 280MW Geothermal plant in Olkaria, the national electricity consumption by mode 47% geothermal, 39% hydro, 13% thermal and 1% wind.

NIGERIA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_energy_supply_crisis

Nigeria is one of the most populated countries in Africa but only about 40% of the people are connected to the energy grid. The people who actually have power experience difficulties around 60% of the time (Aliyu, Ramli & Saleh, 2013). Nigeria’s energy grid is arguably in crisis due to lack of development. There are approximately 162 million people living in Nigeria. Of these people about 70% them are living below the poverty line of one dollar a day (Ejiogu, 2013). Currently the only plan the government has in place to help solve the energy crisis is to expand the fossil fuel burning sector (US Energy Administration, 2013). Nigeria has a reputation of having one of the most corrupt governments in the world (Ejiogu, 2012). Currently the only plan the government has in place to help solve the energy crisis is to expand the fossil fuel burning sector (US Energy Administration, 2013).

How many MWs of electricity kenya generate and compare it with Nigerian own. why are you confusing yourself with this percentage issue. If they pack all kenyans and put inside Nigeria and pack Nigerians to Kenya you don't know kenya will be one of the best country in the world?

No Kenya wouldn't prosper if Nigerians inhabited our land, you'd set up the same elitist class structure and fail your people again. There's no oil in Kenya, you can't make the stupid "My GDP is higher" statement like it means something. Meaning you'd actually have to use your brain to compensate. You haven't proven to the world that Nigeria is able to succeed. You guys produce an amazing first world GDP but live like a third world country.

This right here wins the award for being the stupidest comment, are you insinuating you're okay with corruption, vandalism, an increasingly bigger class of poor people, and this somehow makes you the "big dog." Let me explain this to you as simply as possible, these things will tarnish and kill Nigeria pretty soon. A people are free to call themselves what they feel like. Americans say America is God's own country. South Africans describe their s as the rainbow nation. Nigeria describes itself as the Giant of Africa. Does it mean that they are no challenges? Certainly no. Unhealthily flawed perceptions of one's self is dangerous and encourages laziness, looking yourself in the mirror and repeating 'I am a Cheetah' or 'I am an African giant' while your people are barely making $5 is quite laughable, but that's not even what concerns me. America (self-explanatory ) can call itself that. Also Nigerians can themselves that, I will never understand why, I'd wish they'd do it covertly, but once you start start promulgating fallacious statistics about Kenya. Deluded commentary borne out of a frightening lack of contented self worth !! What have patriotic Nigerians succumbed to?? Is it the unintelligent, spiteful and derogatory commentary here. If Kenya is great, so what ?

Your artist were protesting the other time the dominance of Nigerian entertainment imprints in Kenya. Is that defeatist approach to a stagnated culture a mark of greatness ??

Yours has already fallen under the cultural imprimatur of Nigeria, that no amount misguided online arguments and twitter attacks can erode.

Kenyans have a right to justifiably terrified, why?
The amount of Nigerians associated in theatrics and musics is disproportionally high. I'll even admit they have a talent for it, particularly the one actor Chiwetal Ejiofer. This is where you are misguided, we aren't looking to conquer Nigeria culturally. African-American culture is the most prevalent culture arguably in the world, but they're unable to secure influential jobs, let alone, build their neighborhoods. We're looking to economically surpass others, you can stick to dancing and 'culturally dominating' other countries, I want to compete with the big boys.

facts don't lie.
you guys are talking about we importing refined fuel, for your information dangote is building one of the biggest refinery in the world (not just Africa).
that refinery will pave way for other good things to come and also as we speak now light is been transferred from bonny to Lagos and soon Lagos will start having 24 hours light.
also Atiku company is building one of the biggest seaport Lagos that will pave way for other good things, so you see my friend Don't compare Nigeria with common Kenya compare south Africa okay.
We'll see about the Dagonte Refinery. Given how Nigeria has so many vested interests in importing fuel.
Lagos will have to have 24 hours of light. Congrats!! Nairobi has been having 24 hours of light since 1962, with the exception of maintainance!!Last I checked, we have only had three energy crises . 1984 for three months, 2000 and for a month in 2008, After which Hydro power, which was the main cause of the crises was displaced by Geothermal power, which will last as long as the Earth's interior is hot.(And none of our energy crisis was on the scale of Nigeria where to date not a single place has 24 hours of electricity. SMH .Even in 2000 which was the worst our crisis consisted of 7 hour blackouts three times a week)
Dude. The biggest ports in Africa under construction are all being constructed on the East Coast.Bagamoyo in Tanzania, Lamu in Kenya, Courtesy of China and Japan.
