Lol. I know the Chinese make knock off but I wouldn't care to do that so far it's effective.

The people buying it obviously know the specifications of the knock off..

It doesn't mean the Chinese can't manufacture high effective things too. Their capability may be limited but it's obviously commendable.

About the foodstuff. grin I comment my reserve. grin grin
China is not the only country that make knockoffs , in military fields many country want to make knockoffs but simply don't have the technology. China sold WS-1 to Turkey, only to find Turkey make WS-1 knockoffs and sold to other countris.

Some country like China selective protect"copy right",when it concerns about national security, the government have the right not to product the IPR.But the profit lose of the original made country could be compensated by other means. such as bilateral trade or market entry of other commodities. It's negotiatable.

Such is the same case happens in pharmaceutical fields. India or Bangledesh make some kockoff medicines and export 50%-99% the same quality as the Western ones but priced only 5-10% or even lower. Many countries including China buy from different channels. Why not Western original factory“discovery mercy” reduce the price?

to tell you the truth,i have always had respect for anyone who can make a copy of someone else product.it truly does show that person does a capacity to do exact as the same guy and he may even not have the capacity and facilities like the original maker

most Chinese prefer original than kockoffs,I think other nationals as well, but when the price gap is too huge, the pocket doesn't support.
China do protect copy right of some commodity like Western medicines,Genuine Luxsury cars Bugatti,Rolls Royce or fashion brands eg:Armani, louis vuitton,GUCCI.ect. They are sold at the most expensive price on earth.
