Please fellow NL's, i want help someone buy a smart phone with 20k-22k budget. I remembered i have come across a thread here where someone with same budget was advised to go for Mi-tribe A500 by majority of those that commented even though the battery is not too ok.

I want to get this phone for him but my question is:
Are the parts like the Battery, screen and others parts available? Or
Is there any other phone that it is compatible with?

Please Mi-Tribe users should say something o before i proceed pls.

There's no after sales service in Nigeria.
Other than that, the phone is good for 20k.
The bsttery is good too. It spent over 6 hours on standby without dropping 1% battery

I bought it for a coworker.

The hardware isnt strong thou. It's all plastic and the screen respond time is a bit slow for usage

The phone is great just that the battery is not so strong. I am actually using the mi phone

I'm currently using Mi-tribe A500...i got the phone from konga @22500 as at March 2016 .the phone's ok but the battery got swollen and I have been trying to get a new battery but couldn't find any in local outlets here in ijebu-ode even asked konga but they said they don't have it in stock... I'm currently using nokia torch battery on it until I get a new battery I will sell off the phone for lack of spare parts...
