Wolex143:Don't mind him, i guess what he was trying to say was 'building a profesional career', if that's it then passion should be first then money and other things can come after. |

A job position that in the end (say within a year) can refined you into a professional and by extension guarantee you work holder opportunity anywhere is far better than a job position that will earn you an instant fat pay but leaves you with no impart even after working for a century. It all depends on a person's perspectives and aspirations in life. For someone that think and live for today, the fat pay will do. However, for anyone that think for today and live for tomorrow, a job that guarantee's an impactful knowledge that leads to professionalism will be better. |

Folks i would prefer to take up an unpaid internship with the UN or Brain capital rather than pick up a job that pays #190000, at least for the next one year, some jobs are career traps, money in the short term without future prospects. |

Money is the only factor. I know some people will come and start giving some bull shit prep talk....The only reason anyone would wanna work is to make money and make ends meet. My opinion though. |

No. It shouldn't. Some organisation offer you experience, which will be absolutely invaluable as you mature in your career. Thus more money and satisfaction when you decide to move on. Also, at some stage in your career your needs will not be money but job satisfaction, work-life balance, flexible working hours, the organisation's willingness to enable you express your talent and take decisions based on your experiences...and many more other than money. In fact if you may very likely rebuff better offers from other organisations if their goals, values and vision do not align with yours. |

in 9 ja with rising costs, money matters. it's of no use accepting a job where you'd have to hustle for transportation cos salary can't cover that |

cyndyzuriks:nah! somethings are way more important than Money.. I don't know about job offers, but sometimes I work for clients who might not have so much to pay but I do it anyway cause I see a budding future relationship and network that'd profit me more in the long run.. for example working in CBN for not so big a pay will do your CV and résumé greater good than managing director in some unknown Microfinance bank.. my thoughts tho. |

There are so many things to consider... proximity to place of residence, job security, work environment, etc. However, a feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry... but money answereth all things. |

emysilas:yeh, I support the above. While financial aspects are also very crucial to accepting a job offer its not all jobs have give that "rest of mind and concentration" you required for progress and development which is an obstacle in work place. Having said that, Other things one should look out is the portfolio and mandate that he is expected to operation. I means that kind of on-the-job-experience you'll acquire after a period of time. Will the job expose and develop you more in managerial field, Operations & financial aspect? The experience you got from one job can help you better on the other job. So, you should look out for ON-THE-JOB-EXPERIENCE and Expertise because that will help you catch other opportunities to climb the management ladder anywhere you find yourself! Goodluck |

cyndyzuriks:Never ever let money be your reasons. This may seem difficult to comprehend but later in your life career you will understand. Never let the pay be your reason no matter how Brooke you may be. Rather let it be something from inside you, something like a passion. You'll thank me in the future. |
