robosky, blueto, I discovered we don't have an active left footer in this Super Falcons team. I watched the highlights cos I missed the game and I noticed like 4 goals were missed cos instead of using the left leg to give a shot with a defender pulling on your right shoulder, they decided to adjust to take with the right foot instead. World Cup rivals would see this and they wouldn't give such mini second to do that foot switch. Like saying someone should take btw two sides by stepping into box a or b and the person shifts to a, den later b. Asisat and Uchechi are the culprits. Learnt Daniella of Brazil was one footed until she trained the left and it became Deadly in dire situations.... 1 Like |

2016 Women AFCON: Sports as tool to end child marriages The Confederation of African Football, (CAF) in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the African Union (AU), Powerplay and the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has launched the “Together against the marriage of young girls” campaign towards abandoning child marriages on the continent. This was during a press conference at the Yaounde Hilton Hotel on 17th November 2016. During the conference, the CAF Secretary General, Hicham El Amrani explained that the Africa Women Cup of nations is one of those platforms to plead the cause of women, encourage their emancipation and fight discrimination. Statistics reveal that one in five girls (20 per cent) aged 15 to 19 in Cameroon is married and about 15 million girls worldwide are forced into marriage before they turn 18. With these early marriages having adverse effects on health and social integration, CAF and its partners (UNICEF, AU, Powerplay and FECAFOOT) decided to join the Government of Cameroon in combatting early marriages. In this light, advocacy activities to end child marriages will be carried out before, during and after the matches during the Africa Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon. The Ministry of Women Empowerment and the Family in Cameroon will this 18th November 2016 officially launch the country's campaign for the fight against early marriages. The CAF press conference gave room for media men to be briefed on how they would be transported to the stadium during the competition. It also served in reminding them to check their CAF online accounts for updates during the sporting event http://crtv.cm/fr/latest-news/top-news-24/2016-women-afcon-sports-as-tool-to-end-child-marriages-18281.htm

We have Ngozi Ebere (a leftback who plays for PSG ladies in Europe). She's left footed and very awesome. She didnt start the first game. She's possibly the best left-footed player attacking-wise and defensive-wise in the team. Omagbemi just chose Experience in Ikidi over her. Ikidi can play both fullback roles. daveP: 1 Like |

Good to know your hippocampus is in top shape... And you didnt obviously say Nigeria will lose but your very comment here said, "I dont know who's going to lose this game".... Like seriously?? Means you even contemplated a loss for Africa's no.1 women soccer team... na wa for u ooo P.S: Also saying we are gonna draw is like saying we are gonna lose because I dont see the Balck Queens (as good as they are) beating The World Class Super Falcons. But it will be tougher than the Mali tie but a win is certain. ItsQuinn: |

TheSuperNerd:To boast of one left footer in such a talented, star studded team is not ideal sha. haba now. if we have 2 mid, and 2 wf with such a foot, then we are okay. either they develop their left foot like Daniella or they waste simply chance on the world stage. |
