Hello Nairalanders




My name is Abbas Aliyu. I am a graduate of business administration. I am an entrepreneur, consultant, farmer and philanthropist. I want to share with you my experience from being unemployed and broke to making six figure income monthly and employing more than 5 workers. I came across this business on YouTube. It was a video of a woman in Zimbabwe who made several thousands of dollars in a month from her potato sack farm right in her backyard. I became inspired. Since it takes 6-8 months before you can harvest potatoes, I decided to go for something I can plant and harvest within 2-3 months. I found my answer in Cucumbers even though there are other plants I can grow within that time frame like water melon, cabbage, lettuce, tomato etc. It was easy for me because I had some space in my back yard. So I started with 600 sacks of cucumbers. I mobilized a few boys in the area to do almost all the work for me for a reasonable amount. I spent just about N30,000. After planting all I had to do is water the plants twice a day, fumigate once in two weeks, apply fertilizer once in two weeks. Also I employed one person to do all this for me, all I did was to supervise the person by teaching him how to do the work because am the one with the knowledge. In just about 8 weeks, I started harvesting. I did this for over 4 weeks every week consecutively. All in all, I had a total of 30 bags. I sold each for N5,000 making a total of N150,000 in barely 3 months. Wow! I reinvested N100,000 into the venture. To expand I had to rent a small land in my neighborhood. I did another 2500 sacks of cucumber repeating similar processes with my first experience just that this time I have more knowledge. Over the next 11 weeks I harvested a total 130 bags Sold each for N5,000 making a total sale of N650,000. Today am making a steady monthly income. I am now exploring crops like celery, beetroot, water melon, melons, carrot and red cabbage. I have designed my planting in batches so that I can harvest on a monthly basis. I want you all to have hope. I want you all to realize there is gold in agriculture. Your life can change but only if you make the decision to start. Start from wherever you are. No matter how poor you are you can venture into this business and with focus, commitment, determination and careful planning you will succeed and in less than a year you can become a millionaire. People are doing it all over the country as a result of word of mouth and our online training program (team sack farm) that teaches you from a-z how to start a cucumber sack farm in your back yard, farm, land or wherever you intend to do it. Just a week ago I was watching the news when I saw the Executive Governor of Lagos Akinwummi Ambode saying that legosians alone consume N3 billion worth of food daily. Then and there I promised myself that over the next few years I tap into this market by supplying just N30 million worth of food from the N3 billon. I mean the opportunity is there for me and you. Its so huge that its bigger than all of us. It is said that who will feed Nigeria by the year 2050 when our population should be around 600 million. I think whatever your occupation, you need to create a stream out of agriculture hat generates you passive income monthly.

Then and there I promised myself that over the next few years I tap into this market by supplying just N30 million worth of food from the N3 billon
