To All My Batch B Stream2 Pcm's; This Is For You. <<a Poetry>> - NYSC - Nairaland

To All My Batch B Stream2 Pcm's; This Is For You. <<a Poetry>> by Switup(op): 12:38am On Nov 23, 2016

we was set for the D-day
packed were our luggage
and sealed were our items.
flashback!
the first day we heard the call
fast like otondos were we.
and in those unfancyful cafés we sat.
not like we would be served coffee;
just to get a good state.
maybe the capital
or even an oil city.
so we hoped.
and we prayed.
and some played too.(lifes not to be taken too seriously u know).
and we waited.
alas! waited indeed we did.
present!
so it is now; as we stare and glare
the dashboard saying "ney"
and our arms crossed in fear
because we dare
for lays there.
obvious now like never it is clear
that our whites still have to stay there
in those boxes of ours here
as we surely await the new year.
but sure i am, as i was before;
future!
that the morrow will soon be born
and that khaki i shall devour.
so i continue to press on.
life happens.
but a lovely gray-haired ma
always said to moi
that "when the Lord closes a door.....
some where He opens a window".

In my opinion, stream 2 is even better. Some of the mistakes/challenges camp officials and NYSC as a whole encountered during d stream 1 camping, would hav been dealt wit before stream 2 start camping. Same wit ur PPA. The only disadvantage is staying at home longer which u can plan well to utilise since ur own camping is specifiically scheduled 2 take place in January. Wishing u all well.

typo error.
because we dare...
for what laid there....

further explanation... because the dash boards were vacant each time we checked, we folded our ours in fear and dared wat would finally pop up on d dash board.
