Please web masters i really need your help.

after i applied for adsence early this month, they replied and gave me a code to paste on my blog

I did that. again acording to the message, they will be doing a final verification which was supposed to last less than 48hrs.

But the problem is that it has taken up to 2wks now and i have not heard from them, the ads are not showing too.

I think we are facing the same challenge... Your own case is better because you have been given a code. I applied and they haven't replied me for the past two weeks also

That's really depressing. what about checking my mail. Someone told me that the problem resulted because i checked my mail b4 one week. That i shld have waited for a week b4 checking my mail for reply.

What do you think

i noticed such too.
i was using blogger to apply for adsense but as they gave me the new code to paste after my <head> tag,i did and i waited 3 weeks but no reply. I then decided to move the domain to a wordpress site and also move fully from blogger and voila! after 8hrs of moving and applying the code when i was not fully launched, i got a disapproval msg.
I then applied immediately around 7am on sunday and 2 hrs later they replied, telling me that i have been Approved for the first stage and now came the annoying code. i added the code to my <head> tag (without that useless addition of 'async' in blogger) and i slept and woke up the next day(monday) and jst decided to check my email by 9am and voila!. Adsense approved.
in summary: Blogger is more complicated that wordpress.
