Only in Nigeria will a governor whose houses have been seized for corruption, whose sister is on the run from the EFCC, whose accounts and his wife's account have been blocked by the EFCC, whose hotel he used in laundering money, whose money laundering partner (Biodun agbele) is in court for corruption, only in Nigeria will this kind of person go to another state and raise the hand of another person in the name of campaigning.
Do the people of Ondo want another money launderer in their state as governor? Do they want a thief and a lousy criminal in government house?

I've passed through Ekiti severally, except you're being ironic, I have no idea what you're talking about. Since Fayose came to power in 2014, I can count with my fingers the number of fresh road projects his government has executed.

Because Nigerians don't know what's good for them. If we decide to take stock today, what has he done for the people of his state? How have their lives gotten better? If he is one of the backbone PDP, it automatically means that the party is phucked. How can a man not fit enough to lead 12 year olds be the backbone of a political party. Nigerians do not know what leadership is or what it means which is why they've never had one since independence. That's more than half a century ago. Disagree? Look around? No country with a history of good leaders looks like Nigeria. I am still trying to figure out how the citizenry in Nigeria thinks. Smh.

I've never heard of any Tinubu corruption case. I'm not aware he's been convicted for any crime before. I'm not aware he's ever been investigated, persecuted or convicted of corruption by the EFCC. His CCB case was thrown out, albeit wrongfully. That people call him thifnubu on Nairaland doesn't make him a thief.
All being said, I hate Tinubu. He lives and breeds nepotism. He has coveted billions and billions worth of Lagos state properties for himself and his cronies. Whether he did so lawfully or not is for the courts to decide and not Nairaland. I'm sure Tinubu will have his day in court very soon and I'm sure when that day comes, he won't see anyone behind him when he turns around to check his support base. Yoruba people are no respecter of criminals.
