I don't trust blogger, this maynt be emirate stadium,no concrete evidence

NB,i'm not saying they can't afford it ooo. huh

Money is good,som1 asked me "which other thing is bad apart from lack of money",i said "lack of money"

Yes,i agree on the comments below that our billionaire should invest in our football club. Apart from the fact that our own league may end up competing with others in the world,it will also create a lot of job opportunities like young star like me.
I love my able body ooo,i can't come and join any naija club presently and end up injured without a proper health care or concern from the authority

I'm better than Messi and CR7 join together
You dey talk better thing before oh, but why you come spoil am with the last statement?

invest in our football. invest in something that is not profitable, that is not coordinated, fight here and there. If billionaires invest on things anyhow do you think they will still be billonaires ? fix your league investors will come

Lol... To those hoping that our billionaires will buy Nigerian clubs, let's be honest, when last did you go to the stadium to watch a local match? Nonsense. It is a crime to mention Ifeanyi Ubah with Dangote and Co. Dangote is a billionaire with a capital B in USD. Ifeanyi is a local champion billionaire in Naira.
I can't blame them for not showing interest in the NPFL when you hear news articles about Arsenal raking in £120m in revenue with £32m in profit and such. Now compare that with Kano pillars. Please stop rough play.

Arsenal is the only club where your investment is save year in year out wiith or without trophy. Good investors invest in company who have a track record of generating profits no matter the outcome. Why do you think professional investors move in and out there cash frm stock market. Only wise investors that invest in Arsenal Fc

He should come and float his own FC down here in Nigeria like Ifeanyi Uba and stop forming this foreign club syndrome afterall na una spoil dis country. The onus lies on you guys to fix it. Arsenal our foot!!
I agree to an extent. But Dangote is a business man first. He won't just invest if he can't see any reasonable profit being gotten (+maybe he is not as passionate about football as IU). and to be honest, there is no money to be made in Nigerian football Locally. No jersey sales, No real TV rights revenues, ticket revenues very little.

As much money as he has it's clear to me that this guy is not a man of great ideas or initiative. It took the intervention of Bill Gates for him to realize that he should intervene in the Ebola fiasco. Why did it take a foreigner for you to realize that it might be a good idea for you to ensure that your home country is Ebola-free?

If the FG started to pump money into sports in Nigeria then Dangote would use his government connections to squeeze out the competition and get the best deal for himself but he won't do it of his own accord.

sharrap there cheesy I'm a footballer too, but when I meet exceptional players, I respect them.
For decades now, Messi and Ronaldo have dominated football and no one could beat them to any title. mind you; there are other good players in Europe, the likes of Hazard, Neymar, Di Maria, Ibrahimovich, and many others, yet, none of them has been able to dethrone these two. you're probably lying on your bed, typing sh*ts on nairaland.

No offence bro, for now, I don't think anyone can be as good as MESSI and CR7, its their time, let them enjoy cheesy

Must he make money from it? Is Ifeanyi Uba and co making enough money to keep them afloat in the league? The answer is No! He should just find one club and aquire like Kano pillers FC and use it as a form of his pet projects in Nigeria.

For instance Abramovic the owner of Chelsea before his venture in England has already invested in his home country league(CSK Moscow) so it can't be counted to him as a foolish act by his home country that he hasn't done anything worthwhile to improve their lot sports-wise.

Even the owners of Manchester United; The Glazers did the same thing plus other numerous examples that abound.

No offence bro,ur conclusion lacks intellectual argument. During the tym of Zidane,Ronaldinho,Okocha,Ronaldo etc we believed that it would take us a long of tym to find their replacement but it actually take less dan a decade to fine Ronaldo and Messi. because Ronaldo and Messi are d best now don't mean that no1 is better than then. Surely, their are hundreds or even thousands better than them that are yet to be known and i'm happy,i'm one of dem

Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the game... With their pleasing and entertaining pattern of football (which Barca copied recently under guardiola )... Arsenal has never missed any UCL ticket in centuries... Just to name few. Arsenal is not just a football club, Arsenal is a way to live... #You know nothing John Snow
