Histrings08:It is not -10, it is -6. The reason is this: The bag is 10, the newspaper is 2(2 newspapers, that is to say, 1 is for 1 newspaper) the books are 10(they are 5 books, so 2 is for one book) So 10(bag) - 2(newspaper) * 8(4 books not 5) Using bodmas, multiplication comes before subtraction. 10-16 = -6 Is this clear sir? |

10-(4x4) x 2= 10 - 16 x 2 using bodmas I.e multiplication before subtraction therefore, 10 - 32 = - 22 therefore, answer is -22 a bag is 10, newspaper is 2 and 4 books (each book is 4) |
