using BODMAS .a bag is 19, textbook is 20,news paper is 2 therefore 10-(2*20)=10-40=-30 So the answer is -30

a: 10 plus 10 is 20
b: 10 multiply by 2(1+1 newspaper): 20
c: 5 books(2 each) is 10 divided by 1 newspaper equals 10
d: 1 bag(10) minus 2 newspapers(2)multiplied by 4 books(cool, i.e 10-2 x 8, using Bodmas: 10-16, therefore you have -6.

Re: Who Can Solve This? by charlie999(m): 6:25pm On Nov 25, 2016
Sorry, I missed it up.

Mathematically,

Briefcase =0, newspapers = 2, books=20

Then,

(10-2)*20 = 160

Therefore, answer is 160
Re: Who Can Solve This? by charlie999(m): 6:26pm On Nov 25, 2016
Briefcase 10 I mean
Re: Who Can Solve This? by Kazrem(m): 6:26pm On Nov 25, 2016
The answer is -20.

The bag is 10. Newspaper is 2, Book (1) is 4, multiplied by 4 is 16.
Thus, 10-2*16.
Use BODMAS. You will get -20.

Who Can Solve This?
the answer 160..
how? watch this.... two bags = 20(each bag representing 10). news paper = 2, so 10(bag) x 2(news paper) = 20. if books =20, then 20(books) ÷ 2(news paper) = 10. therefore, 10(bags) - 2(news paper) x 20(books) = 160. ..
oya, where de scholars dey.. come mark me oo

Re: Who Can Solve This? by IBpaul(m): 7:14pm On Nov 25, 2016
10 + 10 = 20
10 * 2 = 20
20/2 = 10
10 - 2 * 20 =huh
10 - (2*20)=??
10 - 40 = -30

Re: Who Can Solve This? by Histrings08(m): 7:16pm On Nov 25, 2016
austinosita:
It is not -10, it is -6.

The reason is this:
The bag is 10, the newspaper is 2(2 newspapers, that is to say, 1 is for 1 newspaper) the books are 10(they are 5 books, so 2 is for one book)

So 10(bag) - 2(newspaper) * 8(4 books not 5)

Using bodmas, multiplication comes before subtraction.

10-16 = -6

Is this clear sir?
I didn't count d number of books... Well done bro
