I created this news and information blog last two weeks and today it is ranked on Google first page for the search word "npower volunteer network". (for a post I created for people having difficulty on the npower portal)

but u need the following to make ur blog look note professional:
logo, header image, about me page, sitemap, privacy policy.

then for your articles:
I want to assume they are all not copied.
try fixing in at least one picture in each post.
try creating buzz feed-like posts.

try buying a domain.

try the above for now.
use Google where necessary.

Good question! Selling products starts from creating online courses (like I do) , Selling an e-book, delivering a health product, setting up a private consultation with charges per minute or hour and a lot more.
E-books are one of them, even though they are not really profitable.
I would advice you to start a course and sell it to YOUR SUBSCRIBERS

Then most importantly, get some dofollow links to boost your site juice and you'll see your site displace those sites that have copied your content.

All you need to do is go to google and search for "Dofollow Blogs" or "Dofollow Forums" etc.

For instance, i just went to google and searched for "Dofollow Directories" and i got this:
