Harmattan Body Cream Recipe

Ok, let's roll. I may be dropping several recipes if I have the grace. First, let's kick start with this:

Using a white plastic spoon as your measuring unit.

1. Jelly-----------------------3 spoonfuls

2. Paraffin oil-------------3 spoonfuls

3. Shea butter-------------1 spoon

4. Rose water--------------3 spoons

5. Olive oil------------------3 spoons

6. Fragrance--------------as desired.

7. Colorant (optional).......as desired.

Direction:

- Put the jelly in clean dry pot and apply heat

-Add the shea butter and stir slowly as it melts along with the jelly

- Add the paraffin oil and allow everything to melt completely

-Turn off the heat

-Add the rose water

- Add the olive oil and stir

-Add the fragrance and stir

-Add the colorant if any.

Notes:

-A gas cooker is better used or a hot plate. If you must use a stove, make sure you turn it low and allow the flame to be blue.

-You may replace the paraffin oil with any other oil of your choice.

-For those of you that already know how cream is mixed, to lighten the skin, use the information available to you. You do right after the rose water is added.

Stay tuned for more.

And as usual, click the like button once you are done reading so we can move on.

Ok, we've got just six views so far, judging from the like.

Where are others? Will anyone still complain of missing out on this?

Well, if we are this few sticking around I think I should do it another way then.

Strongbest:
METHOD OF PREPARATION
-Dissolve the caustic soda with 1 litre of water and allow to stay for 30 minutes to 1hr or over night.

-Dissolve soda ash in 1 litre of water and allow to stay for 30min/hr or over night.

-Get your sulphonic acid, pour inside an empty bowl, and add your perfume (fragrance) to it and the texapoon, then add like 3-4 litres of water and stir very well for about 5 - 10 minutes.

-Dissolve the SLS with 2 tin milk cups of water

-Dissolve the STPP with 2 tin milk cups of water also

-Get the Nitrosol but if it is C.M.C you’re using, make sure it is dissolved 2 days to the preparation of the soap with 4-5 litres of water. If you are using Nitrosol, it's used instantly (as in, no need soaking it down).

PREPARATION
-Get the Nitrosol that has been dissolved in water or the C.MC. that has been dissolved 2 days to the preparation of the soap.

-Add the dissolved sulphonic acid, texapon and perfume to either the Nitrosol or C.MC depending on the one you are using and stir very well.

-Add the already dissolved caustic Soda and stir very well.
Add the already dissolved soda ash and stir properly.

-Add formalin to the content and stir properly.

-Add the dissolved S.T.P.P and stir.

-Add the dissolved SLS to the content.

-Dissolve your colourant in water and ensure that the colourant is completely dissolved, then add it to the solution and stir thoroughly.

-Add some quantity of water to the mixture, depending on the thickness of the mixture.
Leave the mixture for some hours or preferably till the following day and then package for use or for sale.

Hmmmm, ma'am, I haven't accused you of lying I guess.

I'm a business man and I have seen a lot. If I've asked you for a proof of payment it's not because I don't trust you.
Kindly do as requested ma'am.

And I believe you have sent me a mail to that effect. I shall treat that later.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thanks.

Happy weekend everyone.

Oga @Strongbest i hail o.

Here's my first production, i think it came out nicely.

The issue now is how to get mould for commercial production, cutting and idea cutting measurements for the soap.

I also noticed that i use more of PKO and it's the most expensive I'm afraid if it's going to be profitable.

In all, it's a good experiment and experience.

Nice attempt Sir. You've done really well.

Concerning the mold, you can get the locally made ones. The cutter is locally constructed along with the mold.

I think I have posted some pictures of my mold somewhere here. Don't know the page exactly, maybe you should flip through the pages of the thread to check them out.

Thanks.

Nothing like good one or bad one Sir. If you have really gotten it from a recognized store, then it should be good.

Thanks.
