The irony of it all is that the names you mentioned had accomplished way more than Bello can ever dream of before they became governor. I.e. they had a profile and reputation before venturing into politics. In the case of Bello, he had no profile before providence ushered him into the terrain. It's for this reason he has struggled to cope with the vagaries of office......

Nothing, kogi state has been backwards in terms.of infrastructure from the inception of that state. I visit the state often and I drive pass to get to the east. All throughout the tenures of wada, ibro- what visible improvement did you see?
How did they raise the tourism profile of the state?

All the development on ground including the bypass from lokoja through Ajaokuta to Eastern Nigeria was constructed by Audu including Kogi State University. he has his faults here and there but he developed Kogi state. Now this clown here is owing salaries for 9months all in the name of exercise to remove ghost workers. So please get your facts right.

Don't bring awards into..orji kalu too won awards.they buy all these awards. Every serious politically aware person in Nigeria knows that 90℅ of the awards are paid for.
Nigeria is in a recession- lots of state governments are owing..it's not only kogi state.
The blame should be on idris and wada who had more steady state revenue and did nothing collectively for 12 years.. infrastructure was zero under their administration.
Kogi had rich tourism potential as well as been a gateway to many states but this people who were governor before Yahaya Bello didn't raise the profile of the state . They just looted the state dry.

All these our Governors can be very funny, so what is he trying to showcase?

This is a shame...I am so disappointed in Yahaya Bello, and to think he cut the impression of a visionary...Rather than buying groundnut from that small child, the news should be that the Governor was livid at the the fact that rather than being in school, the poor child was hawking; he should have thrown away that tray of groundnut on her head and taken up her sponsorship to school...He is even pricing one wrap of groundnut when his sunshades are more expensive than the whole tray of groundnut...just another example of how the electorate have become too subservient to the politicians, when it should actually be the other way round...

Story, not only buying, will he eat it Tired of all these show off by governors as if they care about d poor.
