Hello Nairalanders

I am planning to start a Cabbage and Lettuce Farm but i Need some advice from experienced farmers in the house to guided me.

I need advice and suggestions about the following

A) Is it advisable to plant Cabbage and Lettuce in this season? Irritation will not be a problem because borehole will be available.

B) What are the best pesticide for Cabbage and Lettuce and where can i buy them in Aba?

C) Also i want to know the fertilizer for these vegetables, where can i buy them in Aba and at what price?

Please add any other important advice and suggestions that you think i'll be needing.

Actually i am open to learn from your advice and suggestions .

In the case of irrigation, if you have any tips to help me please do you help a brother. I strongly because its better to pay close attention and learn than to end up making avoidable mistakes.

My decision to know about the pesticides is to be ready in case the need be.

As for the soil test, i've not done that but from what i can notice around the area, its obvious the plants will need fertilizer to yieldi well.
