So in order 2 protect "new-entrants" & "smaller" Coys, & also guard against "monopoly" by bigger ones, NCC would have to inflict paints on Nigerians by raising data rates ?

See, na who own dis stupid (so-called "smaller"wink telcom companies, dat d protection of dia personal interest would mean dat d pple would have 2 pay more in a recession?

Somebody's actually NOT thinking here!
...adding another dose of hardship on d hapless masses? ComeON!

This government is a joke...all of them at the helm of affairs in NCC should be stoned to death. How can you compete when you don't have the capacity? this is analogous to an athlete who wants to contest with Usain bolt, but he is not readily equipped to do so, definitely bolt will outrun you utterly. because he has been training for years to get to that height, so if you want to beat him, you must make sure you have the tech know-hows and that must be very sure you can outrun him, it may not be instantaneous, but gradually.

Spactranet and co. Shud go and die. Period!

Supposedly Demand pull market is now supply pulled...I weep for Nigeria

I saw this angle coming...walahi...they must have a justifying reason....dont worry people...when we eventually get pushed too far...we will fight back...if I have learnt anything from the subsidy, one thing is sure..government will later approve,we will cry and shout and occupy..then we will all go home...life continues...then endless circle of leadership nightmares and it's after effects widens....

Repent from Indecency
Oh, I see...

But repent from indecency?

No, no way, mbaaahhh!

Impossikant!

To tell you the truth, it will be much more easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for most of our lost brothas who are so far into indecency to leave the act!

I wouldn't blame them, though.

Variety, they say, is the spice of life!

And I wholly concur to that! wink

It is unfortunate that at this period of recession, all the government can think about is to hike the prices of everything.. this is totally unacceptable and uncalled for.. Buhari well done, you have done well.. huh

Silly excuse, are you protecting companies or the consumer? Since the big companies and consumers didn't complain, there is no need of increaesing data cost.
I suspect that the NCC chairman has been bribed by one company, hence the anti-people move.

Phd students writing their thesis and conducting research in the department of political science should take note : A system of a quasi-democratiic government where the electorate vote leaders into power, that consciously or unconsciously refuse to apply the tenet of democracy (silencing the power of opposition and critics, revoking all fundamentatal human rights) is referred to as Demotyrancy.

Apart from being morally wrong. Porn has devastating side effects, at first it seems harmless but eventually it takes it toll...
