Are u insinuating we dont have the best.of minds in state university. They can be relatively low when compared to the number of best of minds in top federal university but i assure u we also have them in state university.
By the way which would u prefer, To graduate with Bsc Economics from Anambra state university or ti graduate with Bed economics education from UNN.

next time before you pick any university,be very careful.i personally wont advise anyone to pick any of those self acclaimed top universities like uniben,unilag e.t.c.just apply to any state univ around you

What is wrong in what i posted.a cousin of mine applied to uniben to study medicine last year.he scored 270 in jamb and 65 in their post utme yet they denied him admission

its in every environment. The same way some law firm only employ graduates of havard law and engineering firm employing graduate of MIT.

Look someone can score..320 in mbbs and still be denied admission. look at the ffg statistics.

UI has close to 12000 aspirant.for just.200 slot
Unilag has 10,000 aspirant for less than 150 slot
Uniben has 10000 aspirants for less than 150 slots.

mbbs is hotcake, it is a competition for best of the best. for 3 consecutive years at UI, the cut off mark was 80 and mbbs students always emerge the best in post utme exam. Pls your 79 aggregate is mistly not going to guarantee u for merit.admission. strjve hard to get.80 upward.

but what is paining me is that a guy scored 71 and was given admission because he is from the S/W

I applied into ui mbbs and i had 72.45 and i'm not offerred admission but what is paining me most is that a guy from the ELDS with 71.33 was given admission

Same with me in LASU.
UTME: 309
Screening aggregate :63.6 %, medicine.
2009 WAEC and from osun.
Meanwhile I know of an osun indigene with 61%aggregate (195 in utme o) that was admitted for medicine
I keep thinking of what gave him an edge over me.
====* this is my 5th jamb and 250+ always. As in, I'm confident that I deserve medicine admission.

your jamb score is really not enough.. the cut off for mbbs in uniben is 300 since waec was not used.. if you don't like PSO.. go for schools that used only jamb
