Controversy As Donald Trump Nominate James Mattis As New Secretary Of Defense by Nobody: 9:38am On Dec 02, 2016

On December 1, 2016, it was announced at a rally in Cincinnati that Mattis would be nominated for Secretary of Defense by President-elect Donald Trump . As Mattis retired from the military in 2013, his nomination will require a waiver of the National Security Act of 1947 , which requires a seven-year wait period before retired military personnel can assume the role of Secretary of Defense. Mattis would be the second Secretary of Defense to receive such a waiver, following George Marshall .

general James mattis retired as a four star general in the US marine corps and he has commanded lots of military joint task forces in the force and outside the the United State of America

James " Mad Dog" Mattis, with this appointment i think Trump means business, this guy will help take America military back to dizzy hieght, he is a no nosence general and most serving and retired veterans will be excited with this appointment. Ttump will turn out to be a great president. with this guy America military is not smiling at all
