3. Flexibility & Control : Now firstly (That is why I would ALWAYS take and Android phone over an iPhone a hundred times and over)

I wouldn't get an expensive device and wait for the manufacturer to instruct me on what to use or how to use my device! I morph my device to anything I think it's capable of!

A Samsung device can share files with a HTC which can share the files with a Sony which can also share it with an LG device!

6. Availability of Repair Centres : OP didn't say there's no place iP is been repaired, he meant there is more Android devices repair centre than the iPhone.

Hmm...I always love it when the rich iPhone owners pitch it against the common Android users... interesting fights, make una continue...but there are points for and against...

I love freedom (iPhone restricts use and connectivity) and I'm not rich (can't use my 3montha plus salary to buy, and can't buy Mac again), so i pick Android anyway...

Truth is that Apple product is the ferrarri, the lamborghini, the Porsche, the bugatti, the maybach, the rolls royce of phones while android is the Honda, the Toyota, the nissan and at best the bmw, the Benz.


Truth is that everybody sees ferrarri as too expensive when they are poor and gives all sorts of reasons why the Toyota is better but when they get rich you won't find a Toyota in their garage.

Yup. Places like the UK & US sha provide contract offerings so most don't pay up front which is why so many more people can afford it but the day such a service is available in Nigeria will maybe be once hell freezes over

People will dump their Android phones just for a short while to experience what it feels like using an over hyped iPhone. After they have gotten tired of Apple's deficiencies they will definitely return to Android.

If I bought a galaxy s7 edge, is it not the same phone the person in the uk is using? Or infinix and tecno can't sell outside nigeria? I'm still trying to get you point, Buh I give up. Talking about customization, launcher, icons and changing of values. Yes android has it. But when would you guys start to realize that rooting of android phones (except or stealing and hacking of apps) only solves problems that are only exclusive to android phones in the first place!!! You root your phone and flash all the custom roms in the world 'cos your phone will never get software updates from the manufacturer. And iPhone does! Or you root your phone to delete unwanted apps and bloatware, which the iPhone does not come with!! So why should I jailbreak an iPhone? Even if jailbreaking was the same as rooting...... Oh yeah I know... Download, hack and use apps developers spend their time and money on? Nah!

IPhones don't have Bluetooth? Seriously? That's the end. You don't deserve to write articles talk less of owning a blog. It's like football analyst saying referees don't where boots simply because they don't kick the ball. IPhones have Bluetooth both the don't pair with non-iphones. They also pair with audio and other devices that use Bluetooth, like a car stereo. And xender is an app not a connectivity and it's also available on iphones. Hotknot is also an app! IPhones have NFC. You can't share apps and music So you don't have to avoid paying for them. And yes pay for apps and music because the owners did not make it free.

Addressed this issue in your first point and my first comment on this tread. And infinix, tecno and itel are IMPORTED by the same company, not owned by the same company

I remember when I used an android phone "fly" I had to go all the way to computer village from epe just to flash my phone. It was having booting problems. Where I wan see the parts for that one? Let's be honest new entry and affordable android phones which make up majority of android phones are the hardest to see it's parts. And the iPhone is in fact the easiest to see it's parts across nigeria. Cos its not versatile, just one model and it repeat designs. For example one touch panel would fit, iPhone 6,6s and 7.

Plus do you know to fix the screen of a galaxy note 7 is just as expensive as buying a brand new s7 edge??

Alright. I agree I was rude. But I was upset with your post. But I will be happy if you take this as just corrections than a war. Take out time to read and study. Both google and apple are not Nigerian companies nor any of the OEM's neither can any nigeria blog be more accurate than international ones. So yes, it's important you read them and make reference to them. As much as it is important to make research before writing an article.

honestly I've never seen anyone go from iPhone back to android because of it's functionality.

Ihe only reason I see that make people go back to android is MONEY.

I for one met android before I met iphone but when I met iphone it was like a divine love story. Though am back to using android albeit temporarily due to finance because my iPhone was stolen. In spite of this I still own an iPad. Still everytime I hold my android phone, I can but feel as if there's something missing.

Let me state some reasons I personally prefer an iPhone to android anyday.

guaranteed functionality/stability
simplicity
completeness
second hand value
