Morning to everyone here. Good to know that most of you have successfully completed your pre-degree program and now await your admission into the various courses you all applied for. Notwithstanding, unfortunately a good number of you couldn't make the cut-off mark (60%) and as such "MAY" not be offered a provisional admission into the university. Either way, I trust OAU PD has undoubtedly taught you new things and also elevated you academically, morally and probably also spiritually. I would strongly advice that you hold on to those "things" you acquired with all your might. I assure you, whether or not you would be finally admitted into the prestigious university, in life you would need those "things" I earlier spoke about. For everyone here, God has a stipulated plan and life purpose. The fact that anyone scored too low or isn't, by one way or another, able to secure an admission this year doesn't conclude that he/she is not intelligent or isn't destined for success. As a matter of fact, success doesn't always have to come on a platter of gold—I can boldly attest to this! Hence, my sole advice to people in such category here is to carefully set (and, of course, achieve) new God-inspired goals. You'll be surprised at how far this will help you when you start succeeding. To those who made it (your final contact scores obviously cannot provide any better proof than they already do cheesy ), I congratulate you. I hope you know you'll be waiting a long period at home before you resume next year so I'll just advice you find something doing at home. Decide what you want to do on your own so that you don't feel bored or just waste the long long holidays. It may be something you're very passionate about or something that will earn you more cash wink . Whatever it is, please put your heart to it. I wish you all success in all your life's endeavors and I hope to see most of you as students of this great citadel of learning, students of "THE GREATEST", students of one of the best not to say THE BEST university in Nigeria: The Obafemi Awolowo University. "A luta Continua, Victoria Acerta!"

Evening... This is to every intending predite...
I've heard your resumption begins tomorrow. And I believe y'all have paid the fees. But there is something VERY important ALL of you must know even a you resume. You might not be told this early enough but you must know it now before it's late!
I'm not here to discourage anyone but to give my candid advice to y'all out of experience.
Before now, pre-degree was the best alternative to getting an admission into OAU besides UTME screening.
But as at this very moment, pre-degree is no longer what you think it is. It is now as good as rewriting your WAEC or NECO.
As an ex-predite who finished this year, I cannot express the disappointment we have faced concerning our admission into OAU. I won't even begin to tell you about our struggle during our 9 months in Moro.
Everything just turned into a total disappointment.
JAMB has succeeded in frustrating our efforts and have made 9 months of hard work a WASTE.
Pre-degree requires that you cross JAMB's minimum cutoff of 200 to be considered for admission. But the UTME was all watered! We wrote the exam which we all believe was simple, but a large number of us were disappointed with the results. Seeing that we reached the minimum cutoff of 200 gave many of us a sigh of relief as we were told that our admission wasn't relative to how low or high our UTME scores were.
We all chilled, focusing on our pre-degree tests and examination. At the end of the program, to a larger extent, some of us had enough confidence that our PD scores could give us our courses as it had been for years. But to our amazement, our scores were made less relevant and our pre-degree choices of course were made totally irrelevant. Jamb decided to be evil toward us. They changed their policy, introducing a 50:50 formula where our admission will have to depend on our UTME scores as much as it did our Pre-degree final score. I don't think a vast majority of us that came for the program would have come if we were told of this formula in the first place. It's so disheartening.

You must have paid the fees already, so you can't undo that. Now, you can heed to my advice:

So long Jamb continues with this policy, then have this in mind:
If you have an excellent O'level result of A's or B's, then pre-degree is a waste of time for you. It would be near impossible to get the scores you've already got with your O'level result.
But if you have not too good O'level, then pre-degree might just be your chance.
But either way, a high UTME score should be your focus.
So, begin preparation right now. Pray hard so you don't just get any kind of score like what happened to a good number of us in the previous examination.
Don't just aim for 200 in jamb. It would be useless. Aim for a far much higher score! JAMB don't really care about you, so brace up!
Shalom.

Wow. All these I'm seeing here are strange to me. I guess things have changed since I did O.A.U. pre-degree in '14/'15. Nevertheless, someone confirmed all you've said here. It is well. I believe this should make predites for this session ('16/'17) tighten their seat belts. It's disheartening, however, to see that most of these predites are very unserious and are taking matters concerning their admission with such levity. You see them already being caught away by many social activities around the outskirts of Moro town. What a pity! Please, like AleXis0r said, current predites you have to prepare and pray well towards your UTME which will undoubtedly come up around Feb./Mar., 2017. It's no child's play anymore. Admission into the university, most especially into a university as prestigious as O.A.U., is a stiff competition.
Two things matter most here :-
1. Your relationship with God.
2. Your relationship with your books (and not any useless girl/boy)!
Please, take it serious. Pity your folks, at least, who spent a lot on your fees. It'll pay off in the end, hardwork definitely will. God bless.

Evening Sir. Please be informed that there is no course called anatomy in OAU. I mean, it's never possible to obtain a bachelor's degree in anatomy in OAU. If perhaps you're still in this state, hoping for any admission status, I must advise that you visit the OAU admissions office in the senate building ASAP.

Excerpts: Talking of blasting OAU Post-UTME, you know, it sounds funny to me that almost everyone of the candidates are always thinking they are capable of blasting OAU Post-UTME like it’s not even an exam—courtesy all the past questions on OAU Post-UTME they have tackled and trashed. They all think OAU Post-UTME exam is the simplest in the world, because all the questions asked are questions that are very easy to relate to. Even the tutors too, and the past questions, they are always making their students and readers (respectively) feel too confident over “blasting” the Post-UTME. But in the end, after the results are released, the news is always the same: “oh, there is mass failure"...
