Making a car is no joke. Show us Innoson factory where they make catalytic converters? or even simple gear box. Mobius is really crappy car but at least they manufacture most of their items save for the engine (Euro engine) and the gear box.Everything else is made in Kenya.

Made in kenya (Mobius) - once again remember the locally manufactured component should exceed 50% for it to be called made in Nigeria. You can go to China and order them to make you a car with badge "Naira" but that won't be made in Nigeria.

Do you know as big as apple is TSMC from Taiwan manufactures it's processor,sony and lg for screen panel....and apple is the richest tech industry in the whole word and we all know apple designs the phone while the real work is done by foxconn....so for someone to manufacture 60% parts...it's a great deal...I'm a Yoruba and I still feel like getting all those parts sooner than 2020...but wetin Kenya get...just hating .....

I should've mentioned this some pages back. The fact you import such embarrassing basics as milk powder and sugar amounting to 6.5 bn$ yearly while selling oil at 50 pct of its value 2 years back is what has put such pressure on the naira.
Along with your horrendous real inflation of over 100pct and your real exchange rate of 470 to the dollar I HAVE EVEN MORE BAD NEWS!
Your 90 trn naira economy is worth 190 bn dollars. That being your REAL GDP your per capita GDP nominal is wayyyyy below our 1500 dollars. With at least 180 mn Naijjans your REAL NOMINAL PER CAPITA GDP IS SLIGHTLY OVER 1100 dollars.
Using the dollar as a univeral measure is standard economic practice worldwide. Don't thank me all at once!

Am not surprised with your view as a Nigerian, since the usual mantra with Naija is solely blaming the white man for all their problems. Case in point is in 1960's when Nigeria got its independence from colonial rule, the white men left infrastructure, rule of law, institutions and working systems. A decade later the Nigeria and most countries in Africa are we knew were in shambles. Neo- colonialism took charge from post-colonialism, the Africans became more resource hungry than the whites while ruining the countries systems, living destroyed infrastructure and throwing the rule of law and order to the dustbins. What the colonialists built in 50yrs was destroyed in 10yrs, successive coups and tribalism are the order of the day while corruption and nepotism have been indoctrinated into the system.
Unless we as Africans stop blaming the Oyinbo man for all our failures either past or presnt we will never move forward but always finger point. Kenya as a society has accepted and embraced diversity in its society, a shift in the general population due to intermarriages beyond tribe and race has reset the Kenyan society to spur economic and social development. This is the reason why you find both white, indian and arab working in the Kenyan civil service, armed forces and private sector.
NIGERIANS PLEASE KNOW THAT OTHER COUNTRIES CAN LIVE TOGETHER AS ONE.
