IDEKEALUMONA:Haha. you need to slap yourself. I will assume that you just made a mistake with your calculations. 8000 MT is a whooping 160,000 bags of 50kg rice. If Mr Williams decides to sell even at 5k per 50kg rice that is a whooping 800M. I dont know what his operating costs are but that is a staggering figure nonetheless. Nigeria produces a total of 2M MT yearly so for an individual to produce 8000 MT of that 2M on his own is quite impressive I must say. Now for those asking where is the rice where is the rice. You dont see Mr William's rice in the market because he does not package and sell his rice. He sells to rice mills around Nigeria. And no I am not Mr Williams or his associate. Just a randomer sharing facts. |

Evergreen4:I doubt if there are enough rice farms in Nigeria. Don't forget there are 180 million people. Our staple food is rice. I'm sure we'll need a thousand or more of such large farms before we can be self sufficient in terms of rice. Farmers should be encouraged at any given time |

A very commendable venture. Nigeria is a very unfriendly place to invest in farms or industries because the Government of the day and their precedents have refused to provide an enabling environment for them. |

luminouz:do you even know what you are saying? if you don't understand what I wrote up there you better mute. I am far from the kind of women you are describing. You know how hard it is to not prefer paid employment and want to set out on your own? you know how hard it is to risk your hard earned money? you know how hard it is to venture into agric business. so much risk had been taken. Go and find out the real meaning of an entrepreneur. if you are not creating a solution you are not one. It has nothing to do with his look. For someone to have that look and think SMART, then a lot of kudos to him. You know how many job he has created. He is smart, he is handsome and he is a solution provider. Go hug a transformer |
