Hello guys, I'm trying to run apache in xamp and it keeps giving me this error: api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll file is missing. As a remedy, i have tried installing the Microsoft c++ redistributable 2015, yet it won't complete installation due to 0×80240017 log file missing! I have updated my windows yet no avail. Please programmers, which way? NB: By the way I use Window7( due to compatibility with some other softwares) Xamp- latest version C++ redistributable: Tried both 2015 and 2013 help guys as I'm stuck! |

MoyoGENERAL:You need to download all C++ redistributable from microsoft website. i had the same issue, that was how i fixed it |

The stackoverflow link i shared had a link too which should help. But one thing i dont like about Nairaland is that most of the time, people hardly come back to tell us whether the problem is solved or not. Next time this OP asks a question, i might not answer. |
